Set: 2005 Score (Rate)

Card: #146 Chris Chambers

“ I like the design of this card, but I always thought the Score logo was a bit too big, it took away from the picture too much. ” -jupiterhill

“ He's holding the football and it says "SCORE" next to his hand. Does that mean the end zone is near? ” -ray fosse's ghost

“ Nice catch. ” -koloth42

“ This is a pretty lousy scan...hard to tell how the card really looks, or what it says. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ Seems like there's been a rash of low-quality scans getting randomly selected lately. ” -UNC_Samurai

“ Yuck ” -Hollywood42

Set: 1982 Donruss (Rate)

Card: #165 Ron LeFlore

“ The first 3 years of Donruss card design didn't have much imagination. Same border and logo each year. Best thing about the early Donurss cards was the gum (so much better than Topps and Fleer), it was actually soft. ” –CluelessJoe

“ He damn near in the camera ” -Young Kilo

“ Another set from my childhood. I have a few cards from this set around somewhere in my house. ” -koloth42

“ Remember the made-for-tv movie about him back in the late 1970's? I think LaVar Burton played him.. ” -wamk

“ If we do this super close up shot, no one will notice we are in an empty stadium and that you're not wearing a jersey with your name on it, just a practice uni... ” -SaveDaKid

Set: 2011 Grandstand Bowie Baysox (Rate)

Card: #23 Chorye Spoone

“ I really like his name. I'm just saying. ” -ray fosse's ghost

“ Thank goodness his parent's never named him Little... ” -Dixxy

“ What's a Chorye Spoone? ” -Young Kilo

“ Cool design...it seems very much reminiscent of the 1980s without being too over the top. It also kind of reminds me of the rookie design in 2003-04 Fleer Tradition basketball...I like it! ” -Billy Kingsley

“ Little on the plain side but not bad for a MiLB team set. I'd take it if no one else wants it. :-D ” -koloth42

“ Someone at Grandstand never learned the ins and outs of typesetting. ” -UNC_Samurai

“ Reminiscent of the 1984 Fleer set- which I've always liked. Picked this set up at a Bowie game in 2012. Love going to minor league games, but the Bowie ballpark is underwhelming compared to its contemporaries. ” -PlayerPCCollector

“ Meh ” -Hollywood42

“ I've never been a fan of teams named after unreal objects. For example, what exactly is a Baysock? ” -jlaz10

“ Parents these days with their spelling. Im going to name my kid Qxzghlasdflin, and have them pronounce it Jason ” -eyoung11

Set: 2008 Topps Updates & Highlights - Ring of Honor World Series Champions (Rate)

Card: #RH-DS Duke Snider

“ Cool design, both front and back! ” -Billy Kingsley

“ Like these a bit better for the current year's champions. It loses a bit to have a bunch printed for prior years. ” -koloth42

“ The old Vaudevillian-style Dodgers hat! ” -jlaz10

“ Liked this set. Started to put it together, but for some reason I abandoned it a few years back ” -Hollywood42

Set: 1979 Topps Star Trek: The Motion Picture (Rate)

Card: #30 The Andorians

“ I hate doing puzzle back cards...many of them are ambiguous which way they should go...I'm not sure if I have all the Star Wars card backs I've posted going the right direction. At least this one is easy, feet are usually a dead giveaway. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ Are the two in white tag team champions? Why they get belts on? ” -Young Kilo

“ I don't even remember Andorians in that film. Granted, that may be the most forgettable Trek film with the original cast. ” -DanD

“ Star Wars > Star Trek ” -Hollywood42

“ Definitely cardworthy. ” -jlaz10

Set: 1957-58 Parkhurst (Rate)

Card: #T3 Dick Duff

“ This is the greatest hockey card I've ever seen! ” -ray fosse's ghost

“ Every card was awesome in the Classic period. Even the back of the card is simple, yet perfect. //Chaque carte a été impressionnant dans la période classique. Même le dos de la carte est simple mais parfait. Non, je ne parle pas français mais je peux utiliser un traducteur! ” -Billy Kingsley

“ Ahhhh Vintage Hockey when knew every player in the league.I think this fellow won Lord Stanley's cup a bunch of times, some with Toronto & Montreal. ” -uncaian

“ I don't have a single hockey card older than 1969. I've got to change that. A Leaf would be a good place to start. ” -DanD

“ The Maple Leafs sweater has essentially been the same for the Leafs' entire history. ” -jlaz10

“ Someday I'm going to make a list of the best names, this will be one of them, Bob Beer is another, Fat Lever, Dick Trickle (R.I.P.) & Bake McBride (who starred on the card of the day awhile back)... ” -SaveDaKid

Set: 1986 Topps (Rate)

Card: #231 Jim Frey

“ Another action-packed photo of Jim Frey. ” -ray fosse's ghost

“ The coach should have gotten his own card, not been relegated to the team checklist! That's one of my gripes with modern sports cards- no coach cards at all. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ Poor guy. How are you supposed to do anything when your entire pitching rotation is on the DL at once? Think about that for a second, and realize that never happened during the time Prior and Wood were on the roster. ” -UNC_Samurai

“ Finally!! A card I actually have. ” -volbox

“ My first year of collecting was this set. Brings back old memories! ” -suomibear8

Set: 1999-00 Upper Deck MVP (Rate)

Card: #201 Michael Jordan

“ This was the first set UD issued where they had a subset of very similar cards after MJ retired. I don't remember off the top of my head how many but 20 or 30 cards, I think. They would do that for years, and then they would do it again after retirement #3. It's too much, in my opinion...still wish they had the license, though. This was the first year of MVP, it would last several years, until at least 2008-09. It replaced Collector's Choice (UD Choice in 98-99) and was usually the first UD release of the year. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ I like the design of this card, it looks like they skinned a basketball. MJ looks like a puppeteer holding his hands like that above the ball. ” -ray fosse's ghost

“ Being from Indiana I never wanted to like MJ since that perennially toasted the Pacers, but Michael was just too good not to like. This card isn't what I would normally like but it just seems to be a fit for 23. ” -koloth42

“ Imagine the Bulls with sleeves. SMH ” -jlaz10

“ Classic card during the shift of centuries, got to love the style. ” -Baserunner3

“ Ahh, one of the 10,000,000,000,000 cards Upper Deck did of MJ.. ” -wamk

“ MJ > LBJ ” -Hollywood42
