Set: 1999-00 Pacific Paramount - Copper (Rate)

Card: #242 Peter Bondra

“ This is a very nice card. It appears to be a parallel based on the name of the set. I like this kind of parallel. The photo works for me too...it shows the player in an accurate image, even with the whiteout effect it still shows the actual picture...he's not in front of some neon pink backdrop or somesuch. Well done! ” -Billy Kingsley

“ Is it just me or do hockey players hang around forever? ” -carthage44

“ One of the greatest Capitals players ever. I was happy that Pacific was making hockey cards in the late 90s but I never thought they looked as nice as what Upper Deck usually offered. ” -Gunny

“ One of the most underrated players to play in the NHL.I actually liked this set very much. ” -uncaian

“ Good ol' hockey... thanks for ruining the season, Gary Bettman! ” -jlaz10

“ I've always liked all of the parallels of this design despite the fact that there is about 20 of them. Bondra played for the Thrashers the one year they made the playoffs and became one of my favorite players because of that. ” -sascards67

“ I used to think his breath-easy nose strip was one of the ones used for removing blackheads. ” -DanD

Set: 2002 Topps eTopps (Rate)

Card: #1 Ichiro Suzuki

“ I always hated the Etopps program. At the time I had no way to order them and felt somewhat gypped by the fact that I was not able to get them. Why doesn't the card show his last name? Any relation to the car company? ” -Billy Kingsley

“ Never have and never will understand what eTopps was. ” -carthage44

“ I like that this card features different images but it looks a bit odd to me. ” -koloth42

“ Now what exactly does the E mean? ” -jlaz10

“ What's this you call 'hockey'? ” -jlaz10

“ I like their design on the 93-94 hockey set a lot better than their 93 or 94 baseball set ” -Hollywood42

“ X marks the spot. ” -bigsmooth

Set: 1992 Pacific (Rate)

Card: #628 Reuben Davis

“ Which one is he, the guy falling or the guy standing? The card design is simple but effective, but the photo could have used some cropping. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ I don't know if it's because of the scan, but it looks very pixellated.. ” -Mike67

“ Football jerseys used to have sleeves? ” -jlaz10

“ So which one is Davis? ” -Hollywood42

Set: 1992 Topps (Rate)

Card: #730 Ramon Martinez

“ I always liked this Topps design. I'm about 10 cards short of completing the basketball set. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ I've always been fond of this set. Maybe it's because of the large picture. ” -jlaz10

“ If you ever needed proof that overhand pitching is not natural this photo should cinch it. ” -sascards67

“ I hate to say how many of his 1989 cards I purchased thinking he was the next best thing...I was wise enough not to buy any of his brother's RC's - fool me once I said! Yeah, still paying for that mistake too! ” -flcardtrader

Set: 1993 Fleer (Rate)

Card: #633 Dan Plesac

“ Fleer in the mid-90s was awesome. Excellent photography, you can tell the photographer timed it just right to get the majority of him clear and his hand in motion. I spend a lot of time on photography- I've taken almost 200,000 photos in the past 9 years- so I pay attention to that sort of thing. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ The grey boarder just makes for a very dull looking card. ” -carthage44

“ I always found it odd how Fleer and O-Pee-Chee would make cards for the team they last played for even if they were signed by a different team. ” -jlaz10

“ Where's the ball? Did he release it early? ” -SaveDaKid

Set: 1997 Topps Gallery (Rate)

Card: #25 Tony Phillips

“ For some reason some of my Topps Gallery cards from the 2000-01 NBA issue have developed a slimy, whitish coating on them. I don't know why because I am very careful with how I handle my cards, I'm sure that the fronts and backs have never been touched since they came out of the box. Of the literally thousands of Topps cards in my collection, covering a span of more than 50 years, it's the only set that has that issue. This card featured as the card of the day is a good design with an excellent photo. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ Ah yes, another aging star that the White Sox were notorious for signing in the 90's and early 2000's. Others were Roberto Alomar, Ruben Sierra, Jose Canseco, Chris Sabo, John Kruk, Steve Sax just off the top of my head. ” -carthage44

“ Quite a proper baseball card, indeed. ” -jlaz10

“ Oh hell yeah. A rock! ” -Young Kilo

Set: 1993-94 Jam Session - Rookie Standouts (Rate)

Card: #4 Anfernee Hardaway

“ Sweet over-sized card. This card does a great job of making it appealing to kids. ” -carthage44

“ This card design gives me motion sickness. Why is there such a need to 'jazz up' basketball cards? ” -uncaian

“ 'Jam Session' did some cool things-the taller cards, and some inserts were 'pop-ups', perforated so you had a 3D-ish card, so you could have players standing on your desk. ” -wamk

“ Is that sweat or blood dripping from his armpit? ” -jlaz10

“ This was back when the NBA card companies didn't have an NCAA license so they airbrushed out the logos from the uniforms. I've never cared for that. It made them seem like knockoffs...just like the actual knockoffs issued in the same time period. It's kind of ironic that nowadays, Upper Deck lost the NBA license so now issues sets with the NBA logos airbrushed out. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ Freakest-looking knee I have ever seen ” -Hollywood42

“ I'm not too big on modern over-sized cards, but I'd might pay a Penny for this one. ” -DanD

“ Always loved the Heritage brand. Wish Topps kept it going for more than 2 years in my sport. There were so many more designs they could have used... ” -Billy Kingsley

“ Great player. Horribe card ” -Young Kilo

“ Doesn't this just bring you back? ” -jlaz10

“ Looks a little bit like Bryce Harper ” -Hollywood42

Set: 2001 Upper Deck Legends (Rate)

Card: #73 Preston Wilson

“ You'd think for a Legends set they would have at least gotten an action photo...unless, naturally, my complete lack of knowledge of anything to do with baseball doesn't allow me to realize that this is in fact an action photo. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ Is it just me but if a set is named 'Legends' shouldn't the cards be actual Legends? ” -carthage44

“ ah yes, the 90's, there era where cards like 'Upper Deck Legends' of Preston Wilson were born...what would we do without the 90's?? ” -flcardtrader

“ Interesting how it says 1998-Present. ” -jlaz10

“ So there I was bro.... ” -bigsmooth
