Sunday, April 12, 2020Set: 2002-03 O-Pee-Chee (Rate) “ A gray foil name on a gray background was probably not the best choice Topps ever made, and the eggplant color border is pretty unique. But I like the set anyway. Great scan. Border's a little darker than it is in hand but these are tough. The photo itself is just right. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ Gary Thurman attended Indianapolis North Central high school. He was super fast and almost went to Purdue on a football scholarship. Was drafted in the first round by the Royals out of high school at the same time a friend of mine from high school was also drafted by the Royals (23rd round).
