Set: 1965 Exhibit Supply Company (Rate)

Card: #16 Choo Choo Coleman

“ Nice old school card. ” -uncaian

“ Now that is the epitome of cool! ” -RoyalChief

“ Best wishes to who? The Exhibit Supply Company? ” -carthage44

“ Sharp looking piece, but I feel compelled to fill in the information missing from the back: Batted .178 in 277 plate appearances over 106 games with the hapless 1963 Mets (record 51-111). I don't study catchers very closely, but 15 errors and 11 passed balls in 487 total chances don't sound like reasons to overlook his offensive ineptitude. His mlb.com bio points out that in 1963, he was hit by pitches on five occasions. That was 16th-best in the NL, which probably earned him one of those purple "participant" ribbons normally reserved for elementary school athletics. ” -dilemma19

“ Great nickname. I guess those early Mets had to do something while losing 100 games. ” -NJDevils

“ Clearly the best name ever. Don't even try to say otherwise. Is that writing supposed to be there? ” -DarkSide830

“ Underappreciated set. ” -Dave Sosidka

Set: 2003-04 E-X (Rate)

Card: #4 Ron Artest

“ It really doesn't show in the scan (I think this one is mine but I can't remember) but the card is printed on clear plastic, with two holofoil cardboard pieces attached to the top. It looks a lot better in person. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ November 19, 2004. The brawl between the Pistons & Pacers. Artest went up into the stands against the Piston fans. Ugly day. Ironically now his name is Metta World Peace. Go figure! ” -Kaline6

“ A really nice scan for a transparent card. Metta World Peace would be proud! ” -carthage44

“ Oh its an acetate card. Nice looking front, surprised that the back has stats on this type of card. ” -captkirk42

“ This probably looks super cool in person. Heck, even the scan is sweet. I love the contrast between the front and the back. ” -wax_house

“ Pretty decent. No glaring omissions, nothing hideous. In my opinion, an original and well-designed card with a bit of flair. Two thumbs up. I wonder why Fleer couldn't put out more interesting baseball designs between 1981-1993?!? (maybe their dry spell went even longer, but that's when I took a collecting hiatus) ” -dilemma19

“ The EX sets were so weird (baseball too). Don't like the stats on two different lines. Sorry this set doesn't appeal to me. ” -Mihome316

“ As a Pacers fan, I will decline to comment on Ron Artest. ” -switzr1

“ I'm not into NBA, but I do remember that Pistons and Pacers fight. That was some crazy stuff! I think this guy was in the middle of it or something. As for the card, what is that supposed to be on the back?? A shadow? A mannequin? ” -RoyalChief

“ Excellent use of white space on the front and clear space on the back! ” -UKboogie

Set: 1994 Collector's Edge - 1st Day Gold (Rate)

Card: #100 Ethan Horton

“ Two Collector's Edge in a row. This one looks much better than yesterday's. Good action photo. Easy to read the name. Team logo looks good. I assume that big thing in the upper left makes it a parallel. Don't care about that aspect of it, but it's a good looking card. I love the picture of the packed Coliseum on the back too. ” -switzr1

“ like the action shot- think the black boxed border can go, would have made the card nicer ” -tonym

“ Great last name! ” -vrooomed

“ Another Raider card!! The Chiefs drafted Ethan Horton as a running back and did not do very well. I remember my Dad saying they need to make him a TE. Well, they cut him and the Raiders did that exact thing. My Dad was not very happy! Is this a serial numbered card? What are those numbers on the back? ” -RoyalChief

“ Not bad for a mid-90s mass production card. ” -koloth42

“ Very colourful, but not terribly informative. I've always had a soft spot for the ultra-wide-angle stadium panorama (but 1992 Topps baseball did it first) ” -dilemma19

“ OK design for junk years 90s except the 1st day logo is TOO BIG. With that black borderline they really should have a solid color border not bleeding the photo to the edge. I think it is OK for the player name and team logo to be big. Back is fair, needs some bio info instead of a stadium picture taking up half the room. What is with the overly large serial number? Yeah they were being edgy alright edgy LARGE. ” -captkirk42

“ Ethan is the hottest Raiders I ever had. ” -dah15

“ A Licensed Collector's Edge card....not something you see every day. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ There is too much going on. The lettering and logo cover too much of the card. ” -biggiofn7

“ Already too many Collector's Edge cards. ” -carthage44

Set: 1996 Collector's Edge (Rate)

Card: #216 Rick Mirer

“ That font. Ugh, that font. ” -vrooomed

“ I remember this guy from high school. He led the Goshen Redskins to the Indiana state championship in 1988. He went on to play for Notre Dame, but never amounted to much in the NFL. ” -cckeith

“ A #2 Draft Pick. Had a great rookie season. Then it was a quick trip downhill to Losersville. Speaking of Losersville, I think that was also the home of Collector's Edge. ” -C2Cigars

“ Yuck! This is one gross card! So sloppy of a design! ” -DarkSide830

“ Oh Rick Mirer. Was supposed to be the next Joe Montana they said. One of the many failed 1st rounder's. Goes to show you never know. ” -RoyalChief

“ Sorry this card suffers from the awful '90s design trend. ” -captkirk42

“ Collector's Edge had a very short run at printing cards and this is why. ” -carthage44

“ Angled stats make me dizzy. No like. ” -NJDevils

“ Typical mid-90s card. Exceptional mid-90s hair! ” -dilemma19

“ Wasn't crazy about this set. Last name only on the front, and some crazy, all-lower case, hard-to-read font. Card stock was unusual too, if I remember right, though that didn't bother me as much as the name on the front. ” -switzr1

“ Good shot but cards always looked faded. Text difficult to read. Hate the backs. ” -cjjt

Set: 1997 Topps - Inter-League Match-Ups (Rate)

Card: #ILM1 Barry Bonds / Mark McGwire

“ Ugly looking card. Both sides look like the back. Too much chrome junk for me. The concept is OK but the execution stinks. Typical 1990s. ” -captkirk42

“ Kept the film on, I like it. The card itself I actually like too, not big on chrome type cards, but this one works. ” -jupiterhill

“ juicy... ” -volbox

“ I never knew one card could contain so many PED's. Hope these 2 never make the hall. My all time Home Run leader is Hank Aaron. ” -Kaline6

“ Great scan. Finest cards are hard to scan properly and whoever did this one really did a good job. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ A lot of HRs on this card. No HOF. ” -vrooomed

“ Always keep the protective coating on! ” -carthage44

“ Is that a halloween mask on Bond's face? Makes him look like a Bengals fan. Great card depicting two of the biggest juicers in MLB at the time. Bravo! ” -flcardtrader

“ Two of the best examples of fair play & nice guys in all of baseball history.#sarcasm. ” -uncaian

“ This is actually really cool. I may try to get a hold of this card someday. ” -RoyalChief

“ Nice. I can only admire one "matchup adversary" at a time (unless I use a mirror...) ” -dilemma19

Set: 1980-81 O-Pee-Chee Super (Rate)

Card: #19 Borje Salming

“ I may have nightmares after seeing this right before bed. ” -switzr1

“ Quite a shock seeing a huge card appear when I clicked on "Write One". OK so it is a SUPER SIZED card. Nice as far as that goes. If it were a regular sized card it would be severely lacking. ” -captkirk42

“ 2nd favorite defenceman, great player, role model .I like this old "poster" set too. ” -uncaian

“ This guy should not have a close up face shot. More like a mug shot. ” -carthage44

“ Maybe close-ups of hockey players was a BAD idea. ” -vrooomed

“ That was the look on his face when a fortune teller showed him how far the Leafs would sink by the mid-80s. ” -DanD

“ Meet the man who was meant to bring the Stanley Cup back to Toronto. No wonder the drought continues... ” -dilemma19

“ I won't sleep tonight, thanks. ” -revnorb

“ Uhhhhhhh....uhhhhhhh. Yeah I am going to have nightmares now. So not expecting that. ” -RoyalChief

“ Have you seen this man? If you have information, please call 1-800-... ” -DaClyde

Card: #NNO79 Eureka

“ Aww,Slimer and the Alpha Bits Wizard are friends,so nice. ” -uncaian

“ Eureka!!! I've found stinky!!! ” -SFC Temple

“ Until I own at least one Italian MTG card, my collection will continue to be humdrum. ” -dilemma19

“ MTG I guess it had to happen one day one of those cards got to the RCOTD ” -captkirk42

“ Weird ” -switzr1

“ Weirdest thing ever, even if it was in English. ” -DarkSide830

“ Is their such thing as an Italian Legend? ” -carthage44

Set: 2012 Topps Update (Rate)

Card: #US29 Jonathan Sanchez

“ Love these update sets because they are full of rookies! ” -carthage44

“ Not a bad design ” -lxnlxn

“ This is an excellent scan. Well done whoever uploaded it. Dude looks terrified though. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ Meh. Forgettable card, anonymous player. (I may be a tad bitter at not having grown up a LHP) ” -dilemma19

“ Like this design, what some bloggers call the "surfboard" set. ” -captkirk42

“ I LOVE these simple, sharp designs. ” -RoyalChief

“ Not nearly the best in the 2012 update set, but its a topps update card, so I cant complain. ” -DarkSide830

“ I like this Topps set ” -NJDevils

“ Go Topps! I love the 2012 Topps and Topps Update sets. ” -ToppsBawlyn87

Set: 2014 Bowman Chrome (Rate)

Card: #93 Nelson Cruz

“ I actually like the recent bowman sets, and the chrome set exibits some neat stats on the back. LOVE the pic on the front as well. ” -DarkSide830

“ Nice card overall. I really dig the HR spray chart on the back. Nice change of pace. ” -RoyalChief

“ Not a huge fan of Chrome to begin with. I don't mind the basic front design, the back OY with those graphics are we sure this isn't some sophisticated stratomatic type card game? ” -captkirk42

“ Steroids saved his career. ” -carthage44

“ With the exception of a blank back, I think this back is one of the most useless I've seen. Don't care for the front design either. ” -C2Cigars

Set: 2000-01 Pacific (Rate)

Card: #28 Herbert Vasilijevs / Sergei Vyshedkevich

“ Nice two player card. I like that they are from the same team. What is going on with that design? Is that supposed to be the goal/net? Back is pretty good for a two person "team rookies" card. ” -captkirk42

“ Not a bad set from Pacific,I think most of the rookies from this set were "one season,if that, wonders". ” -uncaian

“ That design on the left side of the card looks like some kind of tower. Not sure what they were going for there. ” -carthage44

“ Nyet! ” -NJDevils

“ Heck yes, Herbert Vasiljevs! Was never a huge fan of two rookies on one card. RIP Thrashers :( ” -wax_house

“ That's easy for you to say. ” -Kaline6
