Set: 2002 Topps (Rate)

Card: #78 Phil Nevin

“ That's a unique border color. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ The bleak years of Topps. White border, name not in foil, maybe this is a better card. As it is, not a fan. ” -vrooomed

“ very similar to the 1998 and 1999 release... ” -addysdaddy

“ Good effort by Topps. Clean, plain but very very nice. Great back and the all important item for us geezers....LARGE CLEAR NUMBERS ” -NJDevils

“ As much as there are many haters of this set (I was one at one time as well) I am liking this set more and more. It was the beginning of Topps pulling out of the Junk Wax Years. ” -captkirk42

“ The "baby poo" color ruins it for me. ” -C2Cigars

“ Too many flails. ” -carthage44

Set: 1993 Pacific Spanish (Rate)

Card: #302 Ozzie Smith

“ "Short Gardener"? I guess so. ” -NJDevils

“ English please! ” -carthage44

“ As a Phils fan, i hated playing teh cards back then, you couldn't get nothing by him. what an awesome player. ” -tonym

“ Honestly didn't know there was a market for cards exclusively in Spanish. Not sure there actually was. I somehow got a few packs of these and wasn't overly impressed at the time. Still underwhelmed. ” -vrooomed

“ I can't put my finger on it but I've never cared for any Pacific product...baseball or football. ” -C2Cigars

“ Nice design (I think I mentioned for the football version I liked it but have gotten tired of it over the years) the back I don't like the one line of stats. Ironic since I love vintage cards and the vintage years when they started putting stats on the back only put the previous year and lifetime total. ” -captkirk42

“ Was a never a fan of what Pacific had to offer ” -addysdaddy

Set: 1967 Dexter Press Philadelphia Phillies (Rate)

Card: #12 Bill White

“ That's all they could think to put on the back? ” -Billy Kingsley

“ Ya gotta love the vintage stuff !! ” -uncaian

“ These are beautiful cards that some people are finally discovering after all this time. Some of the teams are very hard to find. ” -Dave Sosidka

“ I thought is was an 80's photo not 60's. Nice quality. ” -carthage44

“ I want. I want. I want. That's all. ” -vrooomed

“ Nice. Is this an 8x10? I guess it is technically a press photo not a "card". ” -captkirk42

“ I remember him as a great Yankee announcer on WPIX channel 11 here in the NY metro area. ” -deporcoruña

Set: 2000 Upper Deck (Rate)

Card: #477 Darryl Kile

“ I remember him back with the Astros striking out Tony Gwynn twice in a game. Good pitcher, passed away far too young. ” -volbox

“ Clean design, nice picture. Always like the U.D. product. Hard to read the name though, not a huge foil fan. ” -Kaline6

“ RIP Darryl. ” -vrooomed

" ...looks just like a photo...definitely not Topps...the real one. " -ToppsBawlyn87

“ Nice design EXCEPT for the dang foiled letting for the name. Only stuff I can read in this scan is the "Upper Deck" in its logo, the player's first name "Darryl" and the team name "St. Louis Cardinals" Back is OK I guess. ” -captkirk42

“ Okay, I can see the Darryl but not much else. ” -NJDevils

“ He died way too soon. ” -carthage44

Set: 1966-67 Topps USA Test (Rate)

Card: #35 Bobby Orr

“ Son, dad's trying to watch the hockey game. Don't give me that look! ” -domentho

“ I guess since Topps bought Bowman, they were allowed to rehash their design. So Topps has been at the design recycling business for almost 50 years! ” -vrooomed

“ Enough can't be said about Orr, one of the greatest. On the other hand, too much can be said about this hideous card design. They used the same design for the 1966 football set. At least the football cards didn't use a fake crowd background. And the football set had a pleasant, readable layout on the back. It looks like Topps tried stealing and updating Bowman's ugly 1955 baseball. But failed miserably. ” -C2Cigars

“ Great card. Wish I had a few. ” -NJdevils

“ Beautiful ” -wax_house

“ Great Player Great Design hmmm borrowed from Bowman '55 Baseball much? ” -captkirk42

“ Very very nice!! ” -carthage44

Card: #ROA-GP Gregory Polanco

“ Sticker! Boo! ” -vrooomed

“ one simple word...NO ” -addysdaddy

“ On card autographs are always better. ” -carthage44

“ I like the retro cards. I think it's good to have a throwback set for those that enjoy collecting them. ” -Kaline6

Set: 1995-96 Stadium Club Members Only 50 (Rate)

Card: #22 Glenn Robinson

“ Of the Stadium Club Members Only sets, this one- the last one- was my least favorite, design wise. That purple Bucks road jersey of Glenn Robinson was the first jersey I ever purchased a replica of to wear- unfortunately I got too fat to fit into it. Don't remember when I got it other than some time in 1996. And now his son is a NBA veteran in his second year...this card is from his second year, he was pick #1 in 1994. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ Nice action photo on front, great head shot on back. I understand that this is more of a bonus set, but I need stats on my cards. ” -Kaline6

“ Glenn got an "F" on his report card? ” -addysdaddy

“ Never a big fan of the "members only" editions of Stadium Club (even some of the regular editions I'm not big on). This set is OK except for that silver foil sun Stadium Club logo whatever it is. ” -captkirk42

“ It defiantly wasn't worth being a member. ” -carthage44

Set: 2007-08 Upper Deck First Edition (Rate)

Card: #197 Emeka Okafor

“ Nice action photo, makes me a little dizzy though. I like full stats. What's with the double space printing? Reminds me of a high school term paper. ” -Kaline6

“ Good design, and for you foil haters, it's got none! (Not even a UD hologram) Emeka Okafor never really lived up to the expectations placed upon him, as the #2 pick in the 2005 draft, and the first in Bobcats history. He sat out last two seasons after suffering a serious injury in the season before, and remains a free agent with hopes of returning to the NBA- a difficult task for someone who has not played in several years. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ Pretty nice set for Upper Deck. I prefer the First Edition set to the regular release. The regular release had the awful foil lettering you can't read (unless you are 13 or younger) this the names are in white usually against dark color backgrounds you can actually read. ” -captkirk42

“ Very nice back, nice back, really nice back. ” -NJDevils

“ I always liked the above the rim shots. Never understood the First Edition cards. Never seen a second edition. ” -EdTheStatMan

Set: 1982 Topps (Rate)

Card: #412 Toussaint Tyler

“ Love the basicness of the 80's design. ” -suomibear8

“ One of my favorite sets. Great front design. The blue-on-yellow back is hard to read, though. "Too-San" only lasted "two seasons". It wasn't a good time to be a Saint. ” -C2Cigars

“ Cool name. ” -dah15

“ The man even has "Saint" in his name! I like the Topps cards from the era before the proliferation of all the other brands. ” -Kaline6

“ one of my first set of football cards to collect. ” -addysdaddy

“ This was the first football card set I ever collected and I still think this is the best design Topps every had for a football set. I can remember buying rack pack after rack pack and sorting them endlessly! ” -cckeith

“ Nice pre-Junk Wax Years '80s card. Real cardboard too. ” -captkirk42

“ Love the 82s, though in person the numbers can be a difficult to read at times ” -NJdevils

“ Topps rocked the 80's with their football cards. ” -carthage44

“ My favorite NFL player with his team name in his first name, the Saint named Toussaint. ” -UKboogie

“ Cool card! Odd proportions! I'm all a-twitter! ” -revnorb

“ If were Canadian, I'd LOVE this card! ” -domentho

“ Make room for the Tall Boys. ” -captkirk42

“ Could have had a really great career ,shame about the concussions. Not a bad set, nothing "eye popping" though. ” -uncaian

“ He didn't quite equal the talent of his older brother. ” -carthage44
