Set: 1993-94 SkyBox Premium (Rate)

Card: #111 Blue Edwards

“ "You're my boy Blue" ” -jupiterhill

“ Maybe my favorite Sky Box basketball set. I don't mind most of their sets actually, except that first one. But this one always looked nice, and might actually be my favorite 93-94 set overall. Also, I like this Bucks uniform more than the one they replaced it with that year. ” -switzr1

“ I'm not into basketball but this is a very nice card. I like the action show and the card styling. ” -koloth42

“ Blue Edwards picked up his nickname when, as a baby, he nearly choked to death and his skin turned blue. One of his young relatives (I can't remember if it was a sibling or cousin) started calling him Blue after that. In an odd turn of fate, he never wore blue during his NBA career, although he played for multiple teams that wore blue years after he left. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ The purple Bucks! I like the two-tone green collar. ” -jlaz10

Set: 1986 Topps - 1000 Yard Club (Rate)

Card: #9 Mike Quick

“ Looks like something that could be used as currency in The Game Of Life by Milton Bradley. ” -revnorb

“ He's from a little town about halfway between Charlotte and Fayetteville called Hamlet, whose only other claim to fame is an infamous and scandalous chicken plant fire. ” -UNC_Samurai

“ Great design. For once a border actually adds to the overall design instead of taking away from it! ” -Billy Kingsley

“ This set came out right when I started collecting cards (any cards... ALL cards...). I remember thinking these inserts were cool, I guess they holds up. ” -jackal726

“ Classic Eagles! They should go back to actual green and white. ” -jlaz10

“ That's the name you want your wide reciever to have ” -Young Kilo

“ Easily one of the best players in Eagle history ” -Baserunner3

Set: 1979-80 Topps (Rate)

Card: #88 Grant Mulvey

“ Perhaps my favorite hockey design of all-time. Plus I pulled the Gretzky rookie in a pack that I bought at a local gas station. ” -Gunny

“ Everything about this card is awesome. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ Love me some vintage cards, regardless of the sport. Looks more like an "over 30" recreational league than the NHL, doesn't it? ” -wamk

“ I wish they gave me an adult's stick. Love the back of the card. ” -NJdevils

“ I love the figure skate on the back! ” -carthage44

“ Ahhh !!!! The "Gretzky Set" Did anybody else have a card in this set? ” -uncaian

Card: #10 Scott Stevens

“ Not the hockey player, right? ” -Howintensive

“ I like the White Sox-like script on these unis. ” -jlaz10

Set: 1990-91 Fleer Update (Rate)

Card: #U-14 Dennis Hopson

“ Da Bulls! Won a ring during his one season with the Bulls. ” -carthage44

“ I got the 1990-91 Update set back in 1996, so this is one of the earliest cards to join my NBA collection. It was essentially a series II, the first for Fleer. It mostly featured rookies and traded players although there were some who didn't get chosen for series 1. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ I remember him as a pretty good college player, that never really "clicked" in the NBA. Won a ring with the Bulls, but not because of anything he did... One of those "Hey, whatever happened to..." players in the league ” -wamk

“ If this card was a boat, it would be listing heavily to port. Also, what's with the sombrero shape thing at the bottom? ” -revnorb

Set: 1991 Topps Micro (Rate)

Card: #703 Juan Agosto

“ I have all 3 of these sets, and what a terrible concept. Glad they stopped at 3. ” -vrooomed

“ I am unfamiliar with these cards and cannot get a good feel for their micro-ness. Perhaps the image could be shown next to a penny or deuterium atom for purposes of size comparison. ” -revnorb

“ Oh, these Micro sets were so small. I had the 1992 set. Not much bigger than a postage stamp. An interesting addition to a collection. I like odd-sized and odd-shaped cards. ” -switzr1

“ Wow, when they say Micro, they MEAN it! ” -Billy Kingsley

“ It's so cute!! ” -bplay24

“ The Astros got caught up in the '80s with these unis. And god, that's a small card. ” -jlaz10

“ How do you store these things? ” -volbox

“ Awe... It's so CUTE! I can't even read it... ” -Dixxy

“ I dislike the mini card concept. I don't even pay attention to them. I just toss them all in a box ” -Young Kilo

“ I like micro cards. Not sure why, but I do. The details have to be that much better I think. ” -suomibear8

“ so teeny tiny ” -cynicalbuddha

Set: 2012 Topps Platinum (Rate)

Card: #15 Tim Tebow

“ Tim Tebow? Never heard of him. ” -Howintensive

“ Poor Tebow, I feel bad for the guy. I am truly being sincere when I say that. This guy might not have been a great QB but he just won PERIOD! Still surprised no one gave him a shot after the Patriots cut him. The Jaguars would have been a perfect fit for him since that is near his hometown and the Jaguars had nothing to lose and it would have brought some fans to their games. ” -carthage44

“ All he does is w....wait where did he go? ” -jupiterhill

“ My favorite Tebow memory is Jimmy Fallon's Tebowie song (lol) ” -Billy Kingsley

“ John Elway had a cannon for an arm. Threw some of the prettiest spirals. It must of been torture for him to watch Tebow throw ” -Young Kilo

“ Heeeeeeeey! I finally got a card I scanned selected as card of the day! Have enjoyed the Platinum cards from Topps, and have completed each set over the last three years. Really like that the sets are small, and only feature stars (and Tebow!). Scan doesn't do it justice.. The bluish background is refractor, giving the card a nice appearance when moved. Looking forward to starting on this year's set! ” -wamk

“ Looks like a cross between a football card and a razor package. ” -revnorb

“ Hahahahahaha ” -jlaz10

“ Tim Tebow the best QB since Ryan Leaf. The only thing bigger than his ego was the Tebowing fad. Never been happier to see a guy fail. I know not very nice, but he was so hyped that I couldn't help but not like him. I only hope that Johnny Football doesn't follow in his footsteps. ” -yokonashiwa

Set: 2003 Donruss (Rate)

Card: #244 Damian Moss

“ I like the simple design of the front and how its a full photo. I wish the back wasn't so plain though. I also wish card backs would still list stats like how they were acquired and how long their contract is. Especially if they have the space. ” -jupiterhill

“ Great design, and great scan! ” -Billy Kingsley

“ Great side burns... ” -SaveDaKid

“ Do Australian curveballs curve in the opposite direction? ” -UNC_Samurai

“ Front - Not bad - only flaw in my opinion is the company logo is too large. Back - I guess they didn't have a lot to go with for this guy - also pretty good for the vertical format. More room for stats for veteran players. All in all, this is a good looking set. ” -vrooomed

“ I find that little bitty logo is no substitute for a big ol' team name like in the good old days ... ” -revnorb

“ The Braves have never looked good in color jerseys. ” -jlaz10

“ Great big picture. Nice format on the back for the information. ” -yokonashiwa

“ There were a lot of nice looking issues in 2003- this is one of them. ” -Dave Sosidka
