Set: 1994 Topps Archives 1954 (Rate)

Card: #184 Ed Bailey

“ When Archives did random cards in old sets instead of stars/ legends in sets and years they weren't playing in. ” -jdogg1228
  4
“ Now this is a card! Didn’t realize they were still using the name Redlegs as late as 1954. ” -Tscastle
  3
“ Isnt this Someones profile pic? ” -parsley24
  5
“ If you are a fan of archives, it's a great card. ” -NJDevils
  1
“ Love the old style . . . It is always good to see them . . . ” -georgecf
  1
“ The original Topps archive is over shadowed by today's versions with all the parallel refractor mumbo jumbo. The thing I like about 1954 Topps is the inside baseball on the back. ” -TwinKiller
  3
“ Rollie Fingers was the Reds icon/logo back in the day?!? ” -BuccaneersDen
  1
“ Older cards are so cool. I like am a fan seeing the designs reused here and there on modern cards. I don't like reprints though. ” -muskie027

Set: 2007 Topps Opening Day (Rate)

Card: #47 Carlos Beltran

“ Back when the Opening Day sets had differences from the regular Topps set other than the Opening Day logo. ” -jdogg1228
  7
“ I like the 2007 Topps flagship / Opening Day / Chrome set design, and the opening day logo is a nice add to the card. Not sure about this Beltran photo. What is going on. Is this some kind of ballet bunt attempt? ” -abide
  2
“ One of the best opening day sets. Essentially a parallel of flagship. However, I still think the opening day brand is redundant and unnecessary. An example of the lack of creativity/recycling Topps demonstrated for so long that may have contributed to their doom. ” -chvlDm
  2
“ 2007 Topps is one of my favorites. It was the first complete set I ever had. I usually don’t like bordered cards but the highlights in the corners and the reflective name makes it so much better. ” -pugchump

“ I really like how for opening day they made it white. Looks cool in my opinion. ” -TwinKiller
  1
“ Superfluous ” -jayoneill

“ How many cards show a player strolling to first after a walk. Thousands of walks a year and you never get these cards! ” -Tscastle
  3
“ I always thought it was weird how 2007 opening day flipped the black border to a white one. ” -mkb

“ Not a bad ard, but it looks as if it is geared more towards youngsters than older collectors . . . ” -georgecf

“ Very nice card. No gimmicks. ” -NJDevils

“ A little too much noise for my liking. ” -muskie027

Set: 1993 GameDay (Rate)

Card: #163 Gary Clark

“ I can only image the struggles the team went through to move from Phoenix to Arizona. ” -TwinKiller
  9
“ Innovative card, but odd-ball size made collecting a pain in the buttocks. ” -hamrlik22
  4
“ i know most people dislike the large cards but I really liked them except for the storage issue. Never dropped one of the large cards as I occasionally do with "normal" cards. ” -NJDevils
  1
“ I am not a fan of irregularly sized cards and this one is pretty boring too ” -pugchump
  2
“ On the card back it shows Gary playing his career in a city that no longer has a team nickname. The front shows him on a team with a nickname no longer associated to the city listed. Gary seems to know this and is looking back like, “What in the world is going on?” ” -Tscastle
  2
“ Hated the non-standard card size. ” -kirkscards
  1
“ Gameday were always nice issues. They are hard to store. I was able buy some tall boy card savers. I did also receive tall boy top loaders as part of card orders. ” -Brendan Barrick
  1
“ Why is this St. Louis Cardinal wearing a football uniform? Oh wait a minute. ” -chvlDm
  1
“ I never like odd shaped cards. ” -muskie027

“ Is this a real card, or just his high school baseball photo pretend baseball card? ” -TLNTD
  2
“ This guy had a 1.50 ERA. He also never won a game, but never lost a game. Also, his last name means "ladder step." I wonder what ancestor had to be a ladder step to get that name. ” -BigBoyOnWheels

“ Love the card!! Gotta love Batman! ” -tinyshogun
  1
“ Donruss Americana nice set. Oddly I don't think I have any of these. There are many that I do like from these sets. At the time it was the only way to get cards of some of the actors from the 1950s and '60s, especially auto cards. ” -captkirk42

“ My wife loved the Americana sets ” -suomibear8

“ Baby On Board something - something - Burt Ward This thing writes itself --Homer Simpson ” -cjjt

Set: 2014 Topps - Camo (Rate)

Card: #46 Domata Peko

“ I like parallels but those colors are not attractive ” -pugchump
  2
“ Well, the camo Domata Peko is a nice looking card. It has almost no value though, so that's a shame. The only interesting thing about his career that I could find was that his wife had cancer in 2019. Otherwise, just another NFL player. ” -BigBoyOnWheels
  1
“ Great looking parallel. I don't collect anything about this card; player, team, even sport but I would probably keep this one just because it is awesome. ” -pjdionne12
  1
“ Sort of nice card. I like the design, but not the variant. The camo variant never quite does it for me. Plus I am tired of modern horizontal "landscaped" cards. IN the past it didn't use to bother be because I guess because they weren't as common as they are now. It seems like some sets now days are over 90% horizontal oriented. OH and this season/year the Camo variant was serial numbered. ” -captkirk42

“ More Lineman Cards! ” -Thunderfoot

Card: #22 Anakin Skywalker

“ If you are a Star Wars fan, AND you collect the cards, you should know what the back of this card says. If not, go the movies again. ” -TwinKiller
  2
“ Looks like a pretty average Star Wars card. Hmm I wasn't aware that Topps had an "On Demand" Star Wars set. "Star Wars Now" Who Knew? ” -captkirk42
  2
“ Finally a star wars card...... aaaaaaand its animated. Great set though. My Rey card is amazing. ” -parsley24
  1
“ They could’ve made the back a little more interesting than this ” -pugchump
  1
“ I never knew that Topps did Star Wars: Clone Wars Cards. The text on the back really is pointless, but the front isn't horrible. ” -BigBoyOnWheels
  3
“ This guy seems like a good fellow. I hope he doesn't join the sith rather than destroy them! ” -DarkSide830
  2

Set: 1967 Philadelphia (Rate)

Card: #106 Fran Tarkenton

“ TIL - today I learned - that Fran Tarkenton did not spend his whole career with the Vikings. I saw this card, and said to myself: Fran on Philadelphia? so I looked it up, and there were 4 mid career years with the Giants. Then I looked closer, and saw that Philadelphia is the set name. Weird ” -abide
  3
“ What is Philadelphia ” -mkb
  2
“ One of the few years I collected football cards: Memories, pressed between the pages of my mind Memories, sweetened through the ages just like wine ” -jayoneill
  4
“ I didn't know that "Rub Coin Over Clear Area Below Cartoon And Answer Will Appear" held their longest TD pass record. That guy must have had a long career because he's on the back of so many cards! ” -DanD

  1
“ Nice. Pretty cool looking vintage football card. ” -Derek McDonough
