Year: 1996
Set: Topps (Rate)
Card: #38 Tim Belcher
“ Woo Mariners! Boo being a player not worth remembering. He played only 1 season with the M's and finished with a 10-12 record. Pitched poorly in the post-season too, losing both games he started. ” -ketchupman36
“ I like he back, and I would like the front if the smaller photo was different from the main photo. To me, repeating a photo on the same card is useless. Put the position there instead. ” -vrooomed
“ Everything a card should be. Fantastic design. ” -Doc Floyd
“ This is *totally* a mid-90's card design. Belcher strikes me as one of the most low-key #1 picks of all time. ” -dilemma19
“ Overall nice design. I don't care for the little face or foiled name on the front. Not a fan of additional photos on the back. I'm one who wants stats and bio info on the back. ” -C2Cigars
“ The smallest Topps set since 1957. Don't forget about the Mantle commemorative set and retired card. ” -RoundtheDiamond87
“ Press box photo shot. ” -carthage44
“ UGh Mid 1990s. Not thrilled with the 1996 Topps. Foil name can't read, team name should be there somewhere (other than his jersey not all photos are full body with home unis) Back should lose the picture make the stats chart easier to read. Sadly the 1990s were the beginning of Topps using a thinner card stock and bleaching the card stock pure white, so the feel of cards was changed as well as the looks. ” -captkirk42
“ Never knew he was a Mariner. ” -DarkSide830
“ Very middle-of-the-road deisgn. Not garish but not plain. The back is a little too busy. ” -realrealsoft
