Random Card of the Day |
Saturday, May 20, 2017Year: 2012 Set: Philadelphia Phillies Photocards 1st Edition (Rate) “ This might have made a nice major released set as far as design goes. The color is a bit dull though and it doesn't have the look of a good major league card because there just feels like there is something missing. They could have put some color on the back. ” -muskie027
“ Not bad, I like it ” -702tpr777
“ An appealing front to this team-issued card. Its most outstanding feature is the player information banner modeled after bats. Why hadn't the big card companies thought of such a banner? ” -Sportzcommish
“ These are great for in person autographs. ” -carthage44
“ Cool to see teams still issue stuff like this, at least in baseball. As usual, my sports don't do that. Based on the text size I would guess this is 5x7 or larger? ” -Billy Kingsley
“ I like the use of wood grain for the name plate on the front of the card. ” -CollectingAfterDeath
“ Isn't a photocard just an over-sized baseball card? Kind of annoying in terms of storage. ” -mkaz80
“ I dont like this card very much ” -Bargunmaster
“ Great front. I will not comment on the back. ” -NJDevils
“ Neither the front or the back images were cropped before they were uploaded? Shut the front door! ” -UKboogie
“ Nice design. Wish there was a way to indicate "card" size (other than a larger or smaller image size that may or may not indicate a different sized card) These apparently are 5x7. I wonder if they are are photo stock paper or cardboard card stock? Personally when things are about this size or larger I no longer call them cards, I call them photos then when they get larger than a standard sheet of paper I tend to call them posters. Depends on the paper stock also. ” -captkirk42
