“ Me trying to get my kids to walk around puddles in their new shoes. ” -parsley24

“ Interesting card.OK looking from a movie that tanked. "Help from Above"? Looks more like a complicated wedgie device. ” -captkirk42

“ 1995... seems so very long ago. ” -Doe MG

“ Wow, a card for child abuse?? ” -NJDevils

“ Speaking of water, flush this card. ” -DanD

“ Enough people warned me about the movie that I have still never seen it. No one warned me about the cards, though, and now I have seen one. In the future, could one of y'all warn me? ” -kents_stuff

“ Everyone loves this movie. I have some of the pictures of water insert cards. ” -UKboogie

“ I have never seen this movie. I remember the big hype and awful reviews. Looks really nice for a 95 movie card and if this was your flick. Since I have never seen this, the only thing that comes to mind is the line from Jim Carey in the Cable Guy when he quotes it by saying, "Dry land is not a myth, I have seen it......Kevin Costner, Water World, I don't know what all the fuss was about, I saw that movie 6 times, it ruled!!!!" ” -muskie027

“ Never seen the movie, although general consensus is it is horrible. Well with expectations that low maybe I'd enjoy it not looking for much! ” -rmpaq5

“ How did this movie get a set of trading cards? One of those movies, everyone jokes how bad it was, but probably most (myself included) never actually saw it. ” -switzr1

This movie actually came up in conversation this past weekend.

On a related note, I went to Universal Studios Hollywood back in 2015 and they have a live action Waterworld show.  It was pretty awesome and way better than the movie.
