Year: 1989

Set: Cleveland Indians The Tribe (Rate)

Card: #4 Scott Bailes

“ Pretty basic...but for team issues I don't have a problem with that. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ Either they saved on ink or they loved wide white borders. ” -Sportzcommish

“ It you look closely enough you can see what he is thinking.... "Wild thing, you make my heart sing...." ” -YoRicha

“ This is one of the most boring cards I have ever seen, The most interesting thing about this card is the logo and I don't like it. ” -cnangle

“ Awesome!! For some reason the first thing that came to my mind was...."Major League" May have to watch that tonight. ” -RoyalChief

“ I'm digging this card! ” -carthage44

“ Looks like a card they would give out at the stadium on game day, with the back designed to leave plenty of space for autographs. Front of the card looks good. I like this card. ” -CollectingAfterDeath

“ This looks like a card set that I would expect to see produced for the movie "Major League." Must just be the graphics/Cleveland logo from that time period. ” -jasongerman9

“ Hmm I'm guessing a team issued game-day give-away? OR special All-Time team set? I don't recall seeing these. Then again it was the Indians in '89 and I'm in the DC area and was only lightly into cards at the time (about a few years from my hobby semi-hiatus) ” -captkirk42

“ Looks like they took this picture after they got eliminated from playoff contention the year before. ” -IfbBirdsCards

“ "Major League" - the real version ” -suomibear8

“ Neat card. I love team sets. ” -switzr1

“ Not sure why but the movie Major League came to mind..... ” -Joshua825

Odd that many are reminded of the movie "Major League" by this card. I didn't even think that when I checked it out for my above comment.
