Looking at eBay sales yellow printing plates seem to be going for $10-$25. I don’t know anything about these so maybe yours could be higher with two people on it.

My guess is that if it is a printing plate, it is a 1/1. If it is, there really is no market for in that you have the only version of the card. Prices are usually out there to try to let you know where the price point is matching between buyers and sellers. You have the only one of this card out there, therefore, it is worth whatever you want to sell it for, as long as there is a buyer willing to pay it.
I know I probably sound like a smarta$$ and that anyone reading this may say, "Isn't that what any card is worth, what someone is willing to pay?" I think the difference here is you can point to other sales and price guides that research the price for which supply meets demand. Here that is impossible. Even looking at other printing plates that are 1/1 may only be moderately beneficial as I would imagine someone willing to pay more for a "stud" printing plate than a common.
Either way, pulling the plate is always a really cool pull. I've only ever pulled one, a 2016 Score Football Derrick Johnson cyan plate. I am not really a Chiefs or Derrick Johnson collector and I can't imagine it is worth a ton, but it is my only 1/1 so for now I hold it and think it is really cool.

i wouldn't constitute that as "rare". I hate the term Rare how its used these days. Just becuase something is a "1 of xx " or a low numbered card doesn't mean thats it Rare. They manufactured it, and it's published- Someone is going to get it. Now show me a Mint to Pristine Hank Aaron RC or a NMNT Cobb or Ruth- now that be "Rare".
On that note, its best to see what others in that category have sold on Ebay or see what they're selling for on other sites and you can take the average or the max and go with it.
The other option if you're going to sell is do the above and add on it a Best Offer or list it for .99cent bid and let it ride and hope for the best. There are people out that actually collect Plates, its all about timing and who is looking.

Yeah, list it on eBay with some high Buy-It-Now price, and include the Best Offer option.
Maybe list it for around $60-70 and see what happens.

I think you're confusing the term "rare" with the concept of valuable. By it's very definition a card that is 1 of 1 is rare. There are no others. If that printing plate is truly a 1 of 1 it is more rare than the T206 Honus Wagner, right? It's obviously not more valuable. To equate rarity with value is a mistake. It ignores one of the principals of supply and demand. If there is no demand, it doesn't matter what the supply is.

My Autograph Collection Website Emphasis is on the 1969 Cubs. This is still a work in progress as is my collection here at TCDB. Value what you collect, don't collect for value.

no, i understand what you're saying but any card today that is a 1 of 1 doesn't necessarily mean its going to be more valuable than even a hot rookie base card. Hell, look at Aaron Judge, his base card alone is out pricing most 1 of 1's. The term rare is widely and loosely used anymore. Its even used on most any #'d SN card.
