Hello. Once again Topps has messed me up. As I was looking through my 2003 Topps baseball cards, which I bought as a complete factory set, I found five serial numbered Gold cards. I know I'm supposed to be honored that Topps substituted these rare finds for the base cards, but I'm not. I just want the year's base card set to be complete. The cards are listed in my For Sale/To Trade list. Bradley, Brenly, Marlins TC, Weber, Upton RC. Anyone want to send me the identical base cards for these 5 Gold cards, straight up? It's a good deal....(This worked quite well for me in 1993 and 1994. Who knows what else I'll discover as I plow through the years.)

v3 - I have the Bradley & the Weber. Don't want the Gold cards. :)

I don't have any of the others you are missing or I'd just send them to you. All of the '03 Topps base cards I have came from trades and were Cardinals cards for my PC. GL gettng the set completed!

Hmmm... Stay tuned I guess. When I open my factory sets, I'll be doing the same thing. Let me know how your luck is on doing the swap. I don't have a lot of use for the Gold or any parallel sets. Who in their right mind would compile the entire Gold parallel set? Vrooomed? :)

LOL!!! I don't plan to EVER do this again. But I gotta tell you - the 2015 Topps Gold set looks SO much nicer than the base set.
In any event, I don't have the Cliff Lee - v3 - e-mail me your address. I can send these 2 to you. I've had a few people on here be very generous with their trades with me - paying it forward. Do the same for the next person who wants something and you have it.
