I collect Ozzie Smith cards and I'll trade for them, it doesn't matter what year and it doesn't matter if they are duplicates. If you have a favorite player or team that you'd like to swap for, let me know. I have a massive collection and could put together a lot of about anything reasonable.

Unfortunately, that is also MY favorite player. I do have a couple dozen duplicates that I'd trade. I'll have to see what all hasn't been added to my album yet to know exactly how many. I have several hundred STL Cardinals cards that came in from trades recently and haven't had time to sort them all out yet. I assume from your ID that you collect him b/c he was born in Mobile, AL. If there's another reason, I'd love to hear it. I would trade Ozzie duplicates for cards I don't have of other STL Cardinals players.

I have a ton of St Louis Cardinals card with the bulk of them being from late 70's through mid/late 90's. I do have a lot of outside that window too though. I have an absurd amount of cards that I've been working on sorting for the past month, but I'm not even close. However, since I've always collected Cardinals, I have thousands of them currently sorted and I'm willing to trade any of them.
I mostly only collect Ozzie now and as I get things sorted more, I'm going to start listing player lots on Ebay.
As far as Ozzie goes, I decided on him as my favorite player before I realized he was from Alabama. When I was playing youth baseball, I had a really good glove so they used me at SS and 2B. I was also a small fast guy with no power, but I was pretty good at getting singles by hitting toward 3rd and legging it out. When I was probably 8, I picked the Cardinals as my team simply because their colors were a lot like Alabama's. Then I picked Ozzie because I thought I played like him. When I started collecting cards a noticed that he was from Mobile, it made it that much better.
P.S. I also have a lot of Mark Martin memorabilia. I have some of his cards and a lot of die cast cars and a few other odds and ends such as key chains.

We'll definitely have to make some trades at some point then. I like your story of how you became an Ozzie fan. My dad was a Cardinals fan and that was how I was introduced to MLB and the Cardinals as a 5-year-old. I'd watch games with my dad and what little kid didn't like seeing Ozzie do a backflip into position at the start of every game?! Once I got to start keeping cards from packs that I opened, Ozzie was the #1 player I wanted to pull. I've been hooked on MLB games since the mid-80's and collecting Cardinals cards (especially Ozzie) a couple of years later. I was small and fast too (until 8th to 11th grade when I grew over a foot taller) but I played centerfield b/c of my speed and jumping ability. I played defense like Ozzie did too. I had no fear in diving or leaping for a ball I shouldn't be able to catch and launching it to wherever it needed to be. I never had the batting skills though b/c I didn't get to face pitching machines or skilled pitchers until I tried out for the High School team. BP was the ONLY reason I didn't make the team in 8th OR 9th grade. I didn't try out again, b/c I got discouraged. It might have helped me if my parents hadn't divorced when I was 10. I didn't have anyone around me to drive me to be better at sports. I really wish I had tried to get on the basketball team in HS though. I was blocking shots from a 6'6" center for the JV team in P.E. when I was only 5'6". I got to 5'11" before I graduated HS, but I could still jump nearly 3 feet vertical. Of course I can't do that now, but I'm almost 40. I can't run a 4-minute mile anymore either. I'd be lucky to do it in 8 minutes now. I am still a very accurate long-distance shooter though.
My greatest basketball shot ever was with a football. About 6 years ago, I was in the swimming pool at my Mom's house and my brother and I were clearing out pool "toys". He was in the backyard and I was in the pool about 10 feet above the backyard ground-level. I was sending inside-stuff over the fence to be stored in the basement. Just chucking stuff over/through a tree for him to pick up and take inside. I threw my NFL football over this tree that I couldn't see through from my location and it went straight through the net of my basketball goal! "SWISH!!!" is what my brother yelled back to me. I really wish I had video of that! I tried it a few more times over the years, but nothing better than a "brick" off the rim or backboard has happened.
I'd love to hear about what Mark Martin items you have. I started collecting him in the early 1990's. It was hard to avoid NASCAR back then if you lived in NC. I continue to collect him even now. I started collecting Jimmie Johnson around 2003 b/c I thought Mark would retire soon. Jimmie really impressed me in his first season, but Mark didn't retire for another decade. They are still my top-2 choices when trading for NASCAR cards/items. I don't really collect die-cast cars, but I would love to add a Mark Martin 1:24th scale car to my collection.

I'm little late to the thread here, but I got a bunch of Ozzie duplicates for trade. Always looking for any I don't have. I've got a bunch of spare 88-90 Topps stickers for anyone looking for variations.
I've been collecting Ozzie's since I was a kid. Took quite a few years off of serious collect, but have been making up for lost time the past few years. Trying to complete a playing days set

Not sure if you guys are still interested in trading any of your Ozzie duplicates. Just got my collection all added. Haven't done any trading on here, but interested in adding some Ozzies. He was my favorite player growing up, primarily I think because of the backflip.

Since Oz is the subject, I could put together a fairly nice lot of base + oddballs. The lot would include numerous dupes as well. So, interested traders just LMK, ~BOB~

Ditto here - the backflip started it for me! I still have a couple dozen duplicates FT here, but I am not trading RIGHT now. I plan to get back to trading soon though. You can look at my traders, but you can't send a trade offer until I turn it back on.
I am only interested in cards I don't have, not duplicates of what I do have.
