I have already talked to each of the affected parties to explain my failure to send my side of a trade, but I would like to express a public apology and affirmation of thanks to Wackydog and redlegs_baseball for putting up with me. Not too many details are necessary, but suffice to explain that a new job combined with issues at my kid's school (my wife and I have five children) created a major disctraction with respect to sending out cards. Neither trade was a high value, but I did receive my end and want to get back into their good graces. Thanks again gentlemen, and I hope to trade with you again soon now that my circumstances are normalizing!

Good of you to state your apology publicly. Life circumstances happens to all of us and we allneed to maintain our priorities (no, card collecting is not the first priority in life).
This can also serve as a good reminder to all that communication is the most important part of any transaction. I have had a few that were delayed but the other trader communicated the issues therefore I was happy to wait. The only times I feel impatience and frustration is when there is no answer to messages or the package arrives way late without knowing why. Fortunately, on this site, I have rarely had any issues (can't even remember of any).

Bravo! Yes, life gets in the way sometimes. Hobbies must always take a back seat behind family and work.

Your post could apply to many of us. Even though I'm home on short term disability I have trouble keeping up sometimes. I try to give people a realistic shipping time but stuff happens and I can't physically work on trades for more than an hour or two each day. Thankfully the majority of my trades aren't high end so people are a little more patient. Like it was said above communication is the key.

As one of the effected parties, I was far from being upset about the trade. The main reason was comunication I am really leaniant on trading as long as communication is kept. I understand trying to work and raise a family and be in the hobby. I have 3 kids and I travel for work installing CMM machines and at times I am gone for a week at a time. But thanks for the apology and will be looking forward to future trades.
