Also see if any of his friends collect. It is more fun, at that age, to be trading in person with friends as opposed to anonymously with strangers.

I would love to have done that, but nobody I know collects baseball.

There was one little boy his age that lived in our neighborhood but he moved so I am using every option I have to help him trade.

Just to be clear I am not asking for free cards ...I was making an offer to help anyone looking for cards my son may have duplicates of for cards that my son may need ...does not have to be top names or anything I was just explaining what he likes. I would either trade or buy cards for my son to help him out. I would never ask for anyone to just give away valuable cards just because he is 7.

He has more duplicates that are high in value as well. I just registered for this site yesterday so it is impossible for me to completely list all of his duplicates in one day.

Best recommendation I can make is totake the time to enter all of his cards that are for trade as well as his collection and wantlist. Once these are done, then the site's features will match up his WantList with other traders For Trade lists and vice versa. You or he can build trades that way with members who have lots of the cards he seeks. Don't worry about how long it takes; there will always be cards out there to trade.

This is my plan of action. Posting all of my cards and then clicking the trade/sell button. Work in progress.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.
