The only positive thing I have to say about this is it's an O-Pee-Chee.

To say that Michael Jackson was an even better human being is highly questionable.

This is why I tell people I only collect some non- sports cards...I actually saw some of these for sale in November. I didn't add any to my collection, even though it's a set not represented. (It may have been the Topps version, in fact probably was)

VERY slow trading due to health problems. Not transferrable so safe to trade with, just moving is painful and can't always access the cards.

The only non-sports cards I collect are the 2014-2015 Chronicals of the Three Stooges. I've met a few women that like the Three Stooges. And all of those women don't like Michael Jackson. Neither do I.

Fair enough, I'll sum it up for you in one sentence. The author believed him guilty and set out to prove it, since no one ever did and through an exhaustive research and interview process wound up second guessing his judgment in the end. I've always found Jackson to be an interesting person and found the book to be interesting as well. Myself, I've never let the opinions of others influence what I read, watch or collect, especially the opinions of people I don't know. That renders reviews and ratings useless for me. I'm sure those reviews were very insightful though.

I do have to side with Id8.  Media definitly turned Michael into something of a monster and we as people are quick to believe any rumor about a celebrity we hear.  "He wasn't ill with a rare disease, it was plastic surgery to turn him white","Neverland was just a way for him to get close to children to do bad things."

I'm not big on news, celebrity or otherwise, but I've heard all these stupid rumors that ruin celebrities Images and careers.  Wether they are true or not, we eat them up like candy and spit them out like facts.  Look at Bill Cosby for example.  Childhood idol for some, comedic genious, now tainted with at "rape past" and that's all we see.

Was Micheal Jackson human?  You bet he was.  Did he make mistakes? I think that's part of being human.  Should we judge him and ridicule him for his mistakes? Are you judging and ridiculing yourself for yours?

Most Amazon reviews of Halperin's book on Jackson classify it as trash.   So are most reviews of his writing on Angelina Jolie.    I have read neither as I am not a fan of Jolie nor Jackson.  Not sorry, but I will not be wasting my time reading schlock.

One can say anything one wants in writing such as a book or an article.  One can also do the same with reviews too.  You have to remember that reviews are meant to give a reference on something that sells or does not sell.  MJ the bad guy has sold for years.  It only makes sense that MJ the misunderstood wouldn't sell.  You really can't believe everything you read.  That includes the book too.

That being said... I don't have time to waste on getting to know the guy better as I really honestly don't care to.  I just feel that we forget that these pedestal examples we see daily are just as human as you and I.
