Set: ProCards (Rate)

Card: #3028 Otis Green

“ I have a few cards from this set for an Orioles Minor team. I think the notepad look is pretty neat for what it is. If it were for the Major League teams then it would be a bit tacky. ” -captkirk42

“ Another ball levitator! ” -Kaline6

“ I really like this design. I think some minor league sets are better designed than the majors, actually. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ A notebook? Interesting! ” -DarkSide830

“ Yes, I don't care what you say. This card is awesome! I love the pose and the sweet jersey. ” -RoyalChief

“ Sweet notepad card. ” -carthage44

“ The first time I've actually seen the Mudville Nine version of the Ports.. ” -Mike67

“ This being his first year of professional baseball it will be hard to complain about a lack of stats. At least there is no chrome or foil lettering to complain about. It has a card number and isn't horizontal so we can't complain about those either. I like minor league sets. They bring some fun to the kids in the cities whose parents take them to the games. And every now and then one of the players makes it big! ” -UKboogie

I don't know how I missed this MiLB card. ProSet evolved quite a bit through the 80s and into the 90s. The notepad border was different for the time and helped them stand out. And this particular card is awesome. Great pose.
