Random Card of the Day |
Tuesday, November 15, 2016Year: 1993 Set: Stadium Club - First Day Production (Rate) “ Ken Hill makes me think about that 1994 Montreal Expos team that was so talented and leading at the strike. Could they have won the World Series? How would that have changed the move to Washington? ” -joshthurman
“ Neat. Early Stadium Club are cool, and the rare parallel? I like it even more. ” -Billy Kingsley
“ I remember pulling one of these 1st Day Production cards in a pack back in the day, I was so excited! ” -carthage44
“ Briefly a stud pitcher for the Cardinals an Expos. Then he probably went to the Yankees or Rangers and (as tended to happen to stud pitchers on those two rosters in the 90s) his talent evaporated. Nice borderless card, and solid photographs. SC stats were always a bit confusing, but credit for originality and bonus points for the rookie card (or first Topps issue). ” -dilemma19
“ Ah Stadium Club. The only thing I would add to this front would be the team logo probably upper right corner, and team name under player's name. Back looks real crowded but seems to have lots of great info. I like having the (Topps) Rookie Card on the back. I sort of wish this edition didn't have the extra pic on the back and just had the RC. ” -captkirk42
“ I always liked the first day parallels, but man they were so difficult to pull! ” -Joshua825
