I actually forgot to look at the Card of the Day section when this was up to be written about. That's not something that happens very often, maybe three or four times since I began writing about them (I don't always have something to say....shocking, right? LOL)

I like this, but I love all SN cards. I would rather they didn't appear in the base set, but we all know the card companies don't really care about set collectors.

Black Diamond cards always look better in hand than in scans although the scan here is quite well done. They could not have chosen a smaller font for the name, could they? I still like it and now that I'm collecting hockey maybe some day I will get an example for myself.

VERY slow trading due to health problems. Not transferrable so safe to trade with, just moving is painful and can't always access the cards.

My 8th Card of the Day. Nice card and like Billy said Black Diamond always looks better in person.

Trying to acquire one card for every for every set, insert, parralle, minor, euro, team issue, oddball etc sets produced for Hockey. Been an interesting project.

Question for you Billy. As a set collector, when there are serial numbered cards in a set, do you just try to collect a copy of each card? Or do you go for a certain serial number of each (100/xxxx, etc)? As far as the card, I was alright with the late 90s football ones, but those seemed to become just another "ooh, shiny" set when it was all said and done.

I'll never quit collecting entirely, but I am downsizing. Check out my COMC store and help me thin out what I don't want so I can buy cards that I do want. See something you like? Send me a message on here, and we can knock the price down quite a bit. I'll even take a bit of a loss if it means getting you a card you really want.

I try to get one of each card, but I don't try to get any specific serial number. I think that would make me insane, lol. Over the years, without looking for specific numbers, I've gotten one of every number well into the 200s. I had a list but I had it only on paper and have since lost it. It's about a year out of date anyway. I do have them all typed into Excel so I could figure it out again. With that said if I have an option of different numbers I will go with SN1 of whatever over any random number, or any repeating number, but if they aren't available, I just buy whatever is cheapest.
