“ Now that's a shade of purple you don't see on cards too often. ” -Billy Kingsley
“ Meh. Like the trivia on the back. For some reason I do not like his foot covering the t in his last name. ” -702tpr777
“ Always was a fan on "Classic Baseball"....unconventional with the trivia game aspect, but still I love them. The 1991 set I believe was the best of all of them....especially the red version. ” -tbshaw
“ I have yet to meet anyone who has actually played the Classic game. ” -YoRicha
“ To me, Classic will always be one of the symbols of the late-80's and early-90's boom era, when everyone was issuing cards. ” -olerud363
“ ...and people whine about Star... ” -UKboogie
“ The "Saved by the Bell" design doesn't do it for me. ” -carthage44
“ Some great cards in this purple Classic edition. Actually, all the '91 Classic sets were pretty good. Has anyone ever played the game associated with these cards?? ” -mkaz80
“ Classic plagairism. The backs look like mid-1980s Donruss. They have the MLB logos on the back but no mention of teams on the fronts (or backs). The '91 triangle just ruins the front design. ” -C2Cigars
“ Hey, watch where you're landing Bobby Witt! If you're not going to put career stats on the back, glad you leave room for trivia (and a player autograph). ” -dilemma19
“ Look at that stat line. That's worth $18 mil per year today. I forgot he was that good of a pitcher. ” -Brimose
“ Nice workhorse during his time, (47 CG, including 13 in 1988 at age 23) also went 4-1 during his final season (2001) for the WS champion D-Backs. (threw scoreless 8th in game 5 win to even series) ” -DarkSide830
“ Classic is one of the overlooked sets of the 80's and 90's. They did seem to have several errors though (Matt Nokes was listed at 6'11" in 1987.) They put out some nice sets, but this wasn't one of them. The red was an unnecessary addition and Witt coming out into the border and his name looks silly. ” -IfbBirdsCards
“ When these cards came out I didn't consider them "trading" cards because the first cards Classic Games produced were for some kind of card game. Plus I didn't want any because it was a multi-sport set and I didn't want some of the non baseball or non football cards. ” -captkirk42
“ I loved the Classic game sets. Except that one that looks like a pair of yellow Zubaz pants. This one is real good. ” -switzr1
“ Nice 3-D effect. Looks like Witt's stepping out of the box and trampling on his name. I only collect Classic cards of personal favorite players, but not team sets. ” -Sportzcommish
