I don't do this often.....so I will do it now.  YES I DID, pick 11 seed Loyola in the sweet 16!!!!!!  MAJOR props.......to me!!!  LOL  I love March Madness!!!

2 of the 5 biggest upsets in sports history, the 2 biggest upsets in college basketball and it has to be my school.  After a day and I still have no desire to watch any sports.

Sorry OBX.  I didn't know you went there.  Wasn't my intention to rub it in.  I have no beef with UVA actually.

No problem on my end. After that performance UVA deserves everything they get.

I got a factory job while in HS and turned down James Madison. No regrats I can say it worked out for me. UVA I have been a fan since Ralph Sampson.

That last second winner for Michigan knocked me out of the lead.  I'm one of thed few who picked Houston to win that game.  I was watching with a Michigan fan, so he was happy about it.  Very exciting game.  If only that Cougar hadnt missed the 2 free throws before the winning shot.

I'm with Phil though.  I really try not to let a bracket influence my enjoyment of a game.  Some years, I fill one out but won't look at who I picked again until each day's games are over.

Ugh. Not looking good for me. Good luck to whoever picked a champ who survived the first weekend.

Xavier got screwed, terrible officiating.

The whole left side of my bracket is busted. My last shot for a win JUST happened as Florida State knocked off Xavier! I only have 2 teams on that side left that I picked to make the Sweet 16 (3 MI and 9 FSU) but I didn't pick either to win the next game.

On the right side of the bracket, I'm still pretty good. I need WVU to beat Marshall (currently up by 29) to get to 8-8 for the 2nd round. IF WVU wins, I still have 6 of 8 teams alive for the Sweet 16 on that side of the bracket. This year has been so much crazier than I expected. I am SHOCKED that UNC got whooped by Texas A&M (by 21) and pretty surprised that Syracuse beat MI State!!! I wasn't expecting those results at all. Also, while I picked Clemson over Auburn, I didn't expect an a**kicking with a 31 point win. The Midwest bracket has Kansas and 3 ACC teams left. At least one ACC team is going down on Friday, but it could still be two ACC teams fighting for a shot at the Final Four. It kind of sucks how most of the ACC teams ended up in the same region. UVA and Miami were by themselves in the South bracket and VA Tech was all by themselves in the East bracket (all 3 teams lost in the 1st round). UNC and FL State were in the West bracket. But the Midwest bracket had Duke, Clemson, NC State and Syracuse.

I still have seven possible wins left in the tournament, including the champion. Getting off the brackets, the games have been fantastic this year! A few blowouts don't ruin the tons of fantastically close games just in the first 4 days!!! I can't wait for the games to get started again this coming weekend.
