I did remember that after I posted before. But they were the #1 team for quite a while this season and have been #1 several times in the past several years. With Duke winning in 2015 and UNC in 2017, I had forgotten that 'Nova beat UNC in 2016. They really should have won more titles in the past few years though.

Well, with Villanova's win last night, the TCDB bracket challenge has come to an end. Congratulations to our first place winner, SunDevilCollection, and second place winner OCHawkeye. I will be messaging you both shortly with details on your prizes, and thanks to all who participated. It was fun to be in a pool that was such a great group of users!

<Looks around> Second place winner of what again?  The tournament bracket?!  Wow.  I submitted the same bracket into two groups on ESPN.  Didn't finish in the top 20% in the other one.

Thanks Jason for putting all of this together. I have to say this was one of the best NCAA tournaments by far. I still can't believe a 1 seed got eliminated by a 16 seed. The Women's tournament also was great with Notre Dame winning on a buzzer beater in the Final Four against U-Conn and the Championship game. 

You know it was an interesting tournament if I had my worst bracket EVER. I only got 55% of the games right. I'm usually b/t 68-78%. At least I got one of the #1 upsets correct (FSU over Xavier) and my team made it to the Elite 8. Congrats to the winners!

I still can't believe ND knocked off UCONN! After that, I knew they'd get the Women's title.
