Thanks! I almost want to pull the trigger on the Markakis, but $8 is ridiculous. I’ll only do that for Mancini, Hays, Sisco, former Baysox.

Are you kidding? I got an email from Topps this morning saying I still had one day left. I was going to order tonight after work. They are now up to group two. I don't care about those guys. Ugh.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster. |

Just curious, since the last post on this thread, almost 6 years ago, what are your current thoughts about this set. Still appears to be relevant to Topps and collectors, probably not so much investors. Too small of margins for short term investors, I would speculate. Flippers would not even touch these in most cases. I do see some eBay sellers buying many copies for presale. That is probably the only consistent flipping done with these cards.They are really for collectors or many decades hold, for a long term investor.

I think it is a cool set. I started getting the Braves last year as they released, would eventually like to pick up the early Braves
