Hi everyone,

Just getting back into this hobby of ours. Stumbled into this site, and im very impressed with it. So here comes the question(s) you probably didnt expect.. i'm a software engineer by trade. I was wondering, with regards to this site of course, what is it written in? What kind of database? etc etc. Basically i'm wondering about the entire technical stack this site uses. If its open source, i cant find anything. Heck i'd love if it were, i'd certainly help out with the project.

Thanks in advance. Look forward to diving further into this cardboard life.

Welcome back to the hobby and to the best site ever for card collectors. The site is administered by the originator and I believe a small group of friends. Other than being allowed loading of info and images, members have no access to the programming. And I am happy to be able to say that as my experience is that if you want to mess a good thing, just bring in many with those good ideas. Now having said that, it is up to "Admin" should he ask yo for advice on tackling a particular difficult issue.

Enjoy the site and it will allow you to enjoy the hobby even more.

Welcome hatnice.

Admin (and whoever else Admin has doing coding) takes care of all the behind the scenes coding. You can message Admin directly by going to the messaging page and just using "Admin" as the user ID. I would expect that you won't get too much (if any) info regarding that stuff.

As a software QA (of 20+ years), I help out testing things before they go live.
