So I was thinking, are the Variations in 2018 Donruss actually even short prints? They seem to be pretty common, and on some of the parallel sets, the variations even have higher SNs. 

I worked on the parallel sets for the Blank Backs and Career Stat lines and I added the SP for variations like how the base checklist was added. 

So, should these actually be listed as short prints? And if not, is there an easy way to remove all the SP notes without messing everything up or having to go to each card one by one? 

SP can be removed very easily from the insert/parallels (using search & replace).

From the base set, ASdmin can S&R, but we cannot. We either have to go card by card or submit an error report.

I think I am going to at least begin by removing them from the parallels.  Sorry for all the tech questions, and you have already helped me a bunch on these Dan, but I am not sure how to format the search and replace.  I know I want to search for SP, but what do I put in the second box to remove them?  And this won’t remove or change any of the other notes right?  Especially concerned because all the SN are different. 

Depends on the format of the Notes:

If the SP comes at the end of every Note, then look for ", SP" and replace with BLANK.

If the SP is first in every Note, then look for "SP, " (with the space after the comma) and replace with BLANK.

If it's mixed, do both.
