I have done this I have 12 collections from sets in albums set in storage boxes team sets broke down by decade albums dupes and pred 1980 cards in safe storgae
from the collection that has the cards I to want to move cards from
I go to the filter of for trade/sale and on the "choose an action" menu I choose move to location. All your collections are now listed along with all the othewr ones that where listed.
Doing this will only move cards to your new collection that were for sale/trade.
If you have all cards checklist (all, cards you want, dupes) and you select the move ALL the cards will move
You can even just move a group of cards from a team. Filter them on 1st collection page and then make your move. It can be undone by reversing it.
Also remember if you change collection set on a cards page you have to change it back if you want to work on the set some more EXample Working on collection 1 I find 2 - 1977 Bowa one for set 1 for team set
I go to cards page, 1- delete one Bowa card, 2 -select new location for card page reloads, add Bowa card I now have to chage the collection back to collection 1 Or where you came from, or anything I do will be done in collection 2.
