Bruno was only semi-active when I first became aware of the WWF in the early 80s, but he was unquestionably one of the absolute best ever. My favorite memory of him is actually on commentary, working for Herb Abrams at UWF, when he was calling a terrible match with Herb and kept burying the two guys and asking Herb why he was allowing these awful wrestlers to wrestle on television. I think one eventually became Madman Pondo. I don't describe it well, but it was hilarious, considering all who were involved.
I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.
