I’ve found a couple Wayne Gretzky cards in $1 packs of hockey cards and $2 mystery hockey card packs at Dollarama. Half the time I’m looking for Ottawa Senators cards in those packs so I usually buy multiple.

All I have ever found is empty card boxes at the one here. Too many hogs around.

In Canada we have the equivalent in "Dollarama" or "Great Canadian Dollar Store" (that's actually the name!). Not too much in ours although I guess the best buy option I found was $4 repacks (pkg. of 100 cards) of Magic the Gathering cards so despite not being a player or collector decided to rip a couple of packs just for the sake of something different. A variety of mostly newer sets (2014 and up) plus a few "special"? cards from older sets as well.

Even though my collection only seriously covers one long-retired NASCAR driver, I sometimes buy the 30-count baseball repacks at Dollar Tree to get trade material and occasionally fill in an image on the database. I bought 5 last month, and got 149 baseball cards and one 1998 racing card of Hut Stricklin. I'm still trying to get my head around that happening.

My local Walgreens has had some football repacks on the shelf for a couple of years now. I seriously considered buying them for the sole purpose of seeing if there was anything I could upload here, but decided to use the money on something else...don't remember what but probably more cards or medical stuff. 

I was trying to find the latest post on dollar tree basketball but couldn't find it. We were at dollar tree yesterday and couldn't help but pick up a few $1 basketball packs. I bought 3 of the absolute memorabilia and 2 of the hoops. Dang, a hoops pack had a yellow parallel of Zion Williamson! I have had very good luck with these basketball packs and would recommend picking up some of these cheap packs. Now to decide to hold that card as well as the Ja Morant I pulled earlier or sell for more pack buying funds?

Big Lots is where I always find some gems. They put those fat packs on the shelf at half off a lot and they're $2.50 for 35ish cards, typically of last year's stuff. Pulled a Lamar Jackson RC out of one the other day. 

Unfortunately the Ravens laid an egg last night ( no pun intended !) but a nice pull nonetheless.

On two seperate occasions, I've pulled 2 Bryce Harper rookie variations from those 30-ct repacks. Makes the other 20 repacks I've bought worthwhile.
