More accurate than "Near set". If a set is 100 cards I would consider a partial set of maybe 90 cards or more to be "near". Meaning it is incomplete but oh so close just misses the mark of being complete. As for the 24 card set example 4 or 5 cards from the set the word "lot" would be better as in a 5 card lot from that set. What annoys me is when I'm shopping for full sets and partial sets or lots of less than half the set card count are included in the search. Just like team "lots" that are mislabeled team "sets" makes you think you are getting a complete set. Then there is the short print mess that technically not having the short printed cards makes your set or team set complete and if you have the short prints it is a "master" set.. Ugh.
