I'm updating my want list and find several cards I need that are scanned but no one has it in there collections. It just shows it on my want list.
I have several match alerts but the guys do not have a want list or a for sale/trade list. how do I make an offer if can not find his want list?

I also have many matches where the other party doesn't have a viewable wantlist. You can always reach out with a personal message noting that you had a match and were wondering about a trade. Couldn't hurt to ask; however, beyond that I don't have any ideas for you.
I usually don't worry about it and assume someone else will come along eventually...

Also check their last log in date, on the profile page, as you will find people who entered cards and have not signed in in months if not years.
and look to see when last transaction was they may of stopped trading. or in the case of us older traders, expire. My 1st job caused me to be exposed to asbestos 44 yrs ago. Even with regulations coming in, I got effected by it.

as far as the scans goes but does not show it in anyones collection. I for one have not uploaded my PC (Personal Collection) here but have been scanning the cards to help fill in the blank spots on the images.
You can see who scanned the card and send the a private message to see if they would be willing to trade the card but dont get to hurt if they say the card is not for trade or they already traded the card

A lot of good suggestions here. Be aware that some collectors (refering to myself anyway) don't have most of their haves or want's listed here. A quick conversaiton by private message may help yuo find what you are looking for.

I have alot of cards not catalouged here but I scanned. Mostly because I only really keep track of my Tigers collection here, and any older sets I have that I need cards. Complete sets I don't keep track of here.

I"m guilty of "scanning before adding to inventory". With some of the innacuracies I've been spotting I've started uploading scans and then reporting the innacuracy after the graphics are attached to the card. That way the reviewer can confirm it before making the change. So, for a few days, scans of cards with none in inventory.
Additionally, I have a few sets that were missing here and asked to have set up. I decided during this collection organizing project to give some away to family and friends and take them out of inventory. The sets will be here complete with graphics before I part with them. Hence, more sets with graphics and no inventory coming soon!
As for last log-in date, that makes a huge difference. I had almost all of the cards someone needed to fill out a set. I offered them for free and received no response. I finally took a closer look and saw he hadn't logged in here for almost three years. I still have a lot to learn on this site.
