This probably won't work, but I can't help but try to post a picture of the display case I built from scratch for under sixty bucks. No, I don't deserve a PBS special, but it has grooves to keep the cards from slipping, holds 128 cards, and doesn't look like crap. And it was fun to build. So my almost complete collection of The Last Topps Card of Every Player Who Has a Topps Card is now on full display. Dedicated to my lae father, who never quite got his train room built.

Thanks for expressions of interest. Alas, I have no idea how to upload a picture in the forums. But I am dang proud of my efforts.

Ok, I've outsmarted the system a bit. Now my display case is my profile picture. But you can't see the grooves and the labels and the cards. But it's still cool.
I'm done now.

v3,
Very cool....What are the H x W dimensions? I could use something like this for my "small set" collection.

It's 4 feet across, about three feet high. The top shelf is usable. There's 4 1/2 inches of space between each shelf, so graded cards don't fit. But I don't do graded cards unless they're pre-war. So that's not really a problem. Thing is, I don't have great tools or anything. I hand-chiseled the grooves and slots for each shelf. I'd never chiseled before. The drill was handy. And the power sander. Home Depot cut the boards. It was pretty easy and fun. I thought it would take months. Took a few weeks in my spare time.

Great job! I admire talent, as I have none. Wish I could see a close up.
