Just thought it might be fun to share.
For me, it's probably Todd Van Poppel. We went to the same high school.

Turning off trading because my collection is in complete disarray after moving and I don't know when I can get it organized.

The baseball team picked to win the fewest games in 2015 - because I grew up 7 miles from the city they play in. I have 9 binders full of cards. I'm only 5 cards shy of having ALL Topps cards for them from 1956 to present. They're not too popular right now!

Any player that has been with one team the majority of their carreer and then end up finishing in a different uniform. I stll do a double take when I see Dwight Evans in an Orioles uniform or John Smoltz as a Cardinal. ..

Kep75, I love so-called "wrong team" cards like that too. I have a modern card of Ty Cobb from an Upper Deck set that has him in an A's uniform, and I love it.
To answer the question, mine would be Vince Coleman. Probably not too many would admit to that. But my co-worker has me beat. She collects Al Nipper, because her nickname is Nipper. Her collection is four Al Nipper cards, plus four Catfish Hunter cards, and she keeps them all displayed on her desk. She wants me to go to a game where he coaches and get his autograph for her.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

The least popular player I collect.......regarding baseball there are quite a few, but I would go with my Albert Belle rookie card collection. I know he was never well liked, but I also can't think of any player who had better offensive production and yet, is basically forgotten about. Can you? I find it hard to just ignore his stats, and I believe he was clean, he was a complete beast.

The least popular player I collect is Chuck Knoblauch. For some reason as a kid, even being a CIncinnati area native, Chuck was my favorite ball player. Ended up retiring with one of the worse case of the Yips ever heard of lol, but still, nonetheless, still my favorite to collect, lol.

Jose Canseco has always been and will forever be my favorite baseball player. I have close to 900 different cards, about 800 of which I was able to account for on the Database. I also have a Rogues Gallery - a few pages of players who have been blacklisted or done some time (Rae Carruth, Dave Meggett, John Rocker, etc.) I also have a few pages of first round draft and heisman busts (Ryan Leaf, Chris Weinke, JaMarcus Russell, etc.) Add the fact that I'm a lifelong diehard Raiders fan and a lot of my favorite players over the years in baseball were either steroid users, cokeheads or both, I'd say that probably half of my collection is unpopular. And I'm just fine with that.
