Hey ppl, I signed up to the COMC site this morning so I could snag some Ranford cards I need, I made my account a while back and needed to add credit to my account. I used PayPal as it is thier preferred method and here is the part I am not getting. As soon as I finished the transaction, my account send the amount was pending Paypal transaction. It stayed that way for about 30 minutes then returned to a zero balance. I have been refreshing my account evey 15 min or so and it is still saying zero. I went to PayPal and the transaction is listed as complete at both ends so I would assume I should have my store credit. Has anyone else here used COMC and if so is this normal? Will I have to wait until Monday when they are "open" before I get my credit? Seems odd to me but gain it never is easy for me!! LOL

I'm a buyer on COMC (never sent in cards to sell) and anytime I have loaded my account with funds from PayPal, the amount has ben there within minutes, if not sooner. Usually, it's pretty much instantaneous. Remember - a lot of dealers have it set up to accept offers on COMC. What I usually do is make offers of a penny and it will return an error saying what the minimum is you can offer. I usually start there and see where it goes. Some sellers are great with accepting the offer, some will counter. Another thing - they usually offer special free shipping weeks or days. If you can hold off on getting the cards, try to wait until then (granted it is only $3 per shipment, but that can add up). I currently have cards waiting to be shipped purchased as far back as January 10.

Interesting indeed, it has now been eight hours and my money is nowhere to be seen, I guess I had better contact PayPal as things are not adding up. Thanks for the info it has been a big help. Will keep you up to date.

For one order I had some cards waiting to be shipped for like a month or two then when I actually went to have them shipped I noticed I was charged for shipping again. This has been a couple of years so I can't go back and get a refund. I also think they have changed some of the ording details since then.

Just got off the phone with PayPal and they say I will have to wait to contact them and if they can not or will not help I can make a claim through PayPal BUT (I stress but) electronic money transfers she tells me are not covered ....... interesting indeed, if this is the case she continues I will have to contact my bank and claim it as a fraudulent transaction ....... just lovely all just lovely!!

That stinks, I've never had an issue with them either. I also wait until the free shipping too and never had issue with that either. I'm sure its a glitch somewhere, but sucks you have to go through that.

I'm pretty sure COMC will make sure if they got the money, they'll put it in your account. They've had enough problems over the past year or so, they don't need bad publicity, which this would generate. You might want to shoot them an e-mail tonight - they seem to have people monitoring e-mail all the time.
