This is kind of a two part story. I saw all the hype surrounding the recent release of the 2015 A&G set so i stopped in my local Target and picked up 3 blaster packs. I have kind of developed an addiction for the mini cards recently and have been actively trading for a bunch of GQ and A&G cards so i was looking forward to opening some packs and seeing what i could find. The first mini was Joe Buck and i wondered if i had made a mistake, but then i found some black bordered minis and some A&G backs which are about 1:5 and 1:3 respectively to the base minis so i was pretty happy with the first blaster. The second blaster was the best and had an Albert Pujols full size relic in it. As i was sorting the minis i noticed one that looked different than the others and seemed to be shinier on the front. I flipped it over and it looked normal on the back until i moved my thumb and saw the hand written 1/1 on the bottom. When i looked at the checklist the only thing i saw that said 1/1 was a Mini Wood Parallel which didn't seem right. Thanks to CardboardConnection i finally figured out that there is a glossy insert of 200 cards with hand written 1/1. So i need to construct the checklist to add here. Part 2 happened Sunday at the monthly card show i go to. I hit up my usual vintage dealers without much success and stopped by a new vendor who obviously a box/case breaker. He had a stack of minis that looked like they came from a box and since i didnt have that many yet i just asked how much for the whole stack of about 15-20. He thumbed through the front of the cards and i could see some black borders and A&G backs and he sold them to me for $5. When i got home to load my new purchases I was sorting the minis load into my collection here when i noticed one of the A&G backs looked strange and I saw the hand written 15/25 on the back and realized it was one of the flag back parallels SN/25. Next I found another mini and realized it was one of the no numbered parallels that are limited to 50.
So I hit a double jackpot and all because i looked at the back
