Hello,

   I'm pretty good with IDing my E&V cards. However, the TCDB site, my cards and research turn up different info for the 2007 cards. If the author of the checklist or somebody can help, It would be greatly appreciated. The TCDB lists @17 variations...some are spot-on while others just don't match.

   Could somebody relist these variations here, with what are the differences and most importantly where they found, ex. Walmart set or box, What factory set, there were many produced? Or were they 1st edition cards?

Here is the information that I have, although none of this should be taken as gospel.  I only within the past year came into variation collecting, so I didn't live through 2007:

As an aside, I'm very interested in the 5 WalMart variations from Series 1 if anybody has some that they are willing to part with!

492a Michael Barrett

492b John Buck - only found in factory sets (not sure which ones, my box was red and black)

636a Mike Rabelo

Still can't help with those Series 1 variations, although I tried.

And if in fact a "rookie" E&V collector, WELCOME, I have so many lists on E&V, just ask.

This set is just silly. I bought a factory sealed set and didn't open it. But I also put together a Tigers team set. There are 2 identical Gary Sheffield cards that are (no variations): 133 & 470. It doesn't make any sense. There are also 2 Mike Robelo identical cards 294 & 636. However, I think Topps replaced the 2nd Robelo card (636) with a Billy Butler card in the factory sets.
