I'd get it from the person on Beckett Marketplace for $6 plus shipping - beats Burbanks price before shipping (most likely).

Went ahead and purchased the one off Beckett thanks for the info vrooomed. Shipping was a little high but still cheaper than burbanks. I try to stay away from beckett because I have bought items before just to find they were "sold out" later and having my cash refunded. So I am hoping it works out this time. Thanks for all the help folks!!

When it comes to Burbank and I happen to need a card I couldn't find elsewhere I go directly to Beckett Market Place and their store to get it. TYpically a card listed for.99 on Ebay, is .40 on Ebay. If you are going to use Burbank also, buy more than one card at a time to sort of spreadtheir shipping costs over more than 1 card.

Glad I could help in the research. I'm usually pretty good at finding the bargains! :)

I agree with Mzentko, just buy it. I know the feeling of people wanting way too much over book value, or valuing a rare card ridiculously high. It's like they don't really wanna sell it, they're looking to rob someone who really wants it. I find that if you just buy it, having it in your collection feels better than overpaying. We're not talking a ton of money either. You can save spare change and get the card. Just my thoughts...

For my player collection, I don't get hung up on book value. I'll pay whatever I think is fair for a card if I really want it. Burbank has some great deals from time to time. I know they do have a bad habit of massively overpricing some cards, but in many cases, that is a perception distorted by outdated pricing on the part of Beckett. When a card is nearly impossible to find except at Burbank, and Beckett still lists it as a $1 card, then there is something amiss with Beckett's values, not Burbank's pricing. That said, I usually only buy anything from Burbank when they are offering their occasional free shipping for orders of 10 or more cards. With shipping increasing, I don't know that they'll run that again, but they do offer frequent deals like that.

I, too, like DaClyde, have purchased from Burbank. Not all of their prices are out of line for all the same reasons he mentioned. I do believe they have a buy 20 items get free shipping on ebay - of course, that means you have to spend at least $20 to get that, but it beats the free shipping at $50 on the Beckett Marketplace.
Sometimes, the hobby is costly. :)
