When logging in cards, is it better to log in multiples of the same card ? Or do you just log in a single, knowing you are going to sell / trade any multiples ?

Kind of a personal choice really.  You could log multiples and set up (x)-1 of them for trade If you feel like letting people know you got lots to go around, or do just one and put it on the trade block.  Personally, I log all my multiples so as to keep track of what I have.  If I have six of one, I put six cards in and set 5 for trade.

Don't do this!  Log one of each card you have and THEN go and log multiples.  I did that and it is taking me way too much time.

The way I view it is, if I have one it's in my collection, if I have more than 1 it's a duplicate, and NOT part of my collection. It's not counted as part of my collection nor will it ever be. The only time I count duplicates is if they a.) Are serially numbered. I'm way OCD and can't bring myself to trade or give away a serially numbered card, even if I have more than one of them and b.) if it is a relic card and the relic is a different color. I actually taught my mom how to use the database and she is typing in my trade list (IE, duplicates) although with recent health problems here it's been put on the back burner. I keep track of my trade list on Excel and she is working off that...I also keep track of my collection on Excel, currently working on re- creating it after losing it to a bad floppy disk circa 2006.

I will probaly try Dixxy's way first, so I can do 2 things at once. Log cards and make them available for trade. I bought a few large lots. Hopefully thats done and I can concentrate on singles.
