So what do you do when the clock says 11:30 on a Friday night?   That's right, start some trouble.   There is a set, 1992 Star Pics Saturday Night Live.   #114 Checklist has it as Ronald Reagan.   Name on card is Ronald Reagan.   But the person on the card, I believe it is the late Phil Hartman, is impersonating Ronald Reagan.   Yet in the same set, #90  Saddam Hussein, on the card,  is listed under Phil Hartman.   What should be the standard for the set.  The impersonator, the person being impersonated, the name on card or both?

I say the impersonator.  I have one of Tonto, Frankenstein, and maybe Chris Farley (its not in my hand right now).

I didn't get it because I wanted a Frankenstein and Tonto card, I got it because it was a Jon Lovitz, Phil Hartman, and Chris Farley card.  If someone wants to tag Tonto and Frankenstein on it, I have no problem with it, but I would say most collector's have the card (or cards) because of the sketch itself and impersonator, not so much the person they were imitating.

With that in mind, I need to look for other cards in that set, like Chico Escuela... and Toonces.

If I understand the convention properly, the name field should read the same as what is on the card, but then it should be linked to the actor's PID#.

Ronald Reagan linked to Phil Hartman (PID 88846). It's Ronald Reagan, a character, not Ronald Reagan the President. This is no different than all the other same-named people in the database. They are linked based on who they actually are. Just because it says Ronald Reagan doesn't make it President Ronald Reagan. Would you link John Kennedy's cards to President John Kennedy?
