You can click on each card individually and it will give you the option to add multiple cards...Hope that helps Sir...

At the set's page click on Collection Summary, then Add / Udpate. Under the Choose an Action dropdown menu select Add all cards in this set to your collection. Do it again to add a second set.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

OK, I have done what both of you have suggested (adding Each individual card) and (Add all cards in this set to your collection
But when I return to my collection page I still only show one set of 1983 Topps in the collection. If either of the suggestions worked shouldn't I see 1983 Topps Twice? Where would multiple sets show up if not on the collection page?
Thanks for your help but I must be dense I thought there would be a simple drop down for number of sets somewhere.

The collection page shows each set once, no matter how many cards you have from that set, whether it be 1 card, 1 card of each, or 100 cards of each.

I guess if you can't list all the sets you have and the partial sets of the same year you miss the definition of a "Trading Card Database"
ie "comprehensive collection of related data organized for convenient access,
I am not sure I get the point of listing cards if it is not a factual comprehensive list. How do others determine what cards you actually have.

i think i lost ya there ... i just went into your collection and can see for the 1980 Topps you applied (for example) 4 card #1 of Lou Brock/ Carl Yastrzemski... (remaining of the set shows the same for the cards.. having 4 each)-- it wont show four individual scans.. one of the main purposes is to show a single scan for each card as data base.. then individuals can maintain the sets as needed.. adding or deleting whether or not you have 1 card of that set or 500 cards of that #1 card mentioned.. so out of those 4 multiple cards, you can keep 2 and change the other two to the Trade/Sale category. you can also go into each card (multiple one's) and list the price, bought from aution, store,-if thats what you want to do too. As for your last statement, just looking at that one year, its telling me that you have 4 cards of each one in that set.. i think that is pretty comprehensive. there's no need to show the set as whole mutiple times when your tracking each card multiple times.. is that what you're looking for or trying to get to?

I think I know what you're trying to do, but I'm not sure it's possible (and I don't know of any web site or offline db that can do this).
Additionally, making snide remarks won't get anything improved, but when we've made polite, respectful enhancement requests (no matter how crazy they were), they were always considered, while the possible ones were implemented.
In this case, if I'm correct in what you want to see happen, from a programming stand point, what you're trying to do is catalog items (individual cards) as well as collections of items (complete sets - more on the definition of that in a second) as other items. This site tracks the number of cards in people's collections and the question then becomes, how is a set handled? In the Heritage sets, does it include the hi-num SPs? The other SPs? None of them? Or does it count the "set" as 1 item?
So, this site adds a set as the individual cards. There is a report on your collections page that shows you the complete sets you have as well as sets near completion.
Now, if you have any constructive ideas, I'm sure we can pass them on to Admin and see what he/she/they can do with them.

Tony and Dan, Thanks for your replies.First of all let me say I was not trying to make a snide remark or debase "TCD" in anyway as I am trying to work within the system. I see both of you joined in 2012 which gives you 4 years more operating experience than I have. Being inexperienced some aspects of "TCD" do not make sense to me but a second nature to both of you. Such as the attached below
