In my boredom of perusing the Things to Do section of TCDB, I stumbled across the George Burke "set" from 1938-54. I was surprised to learn that it really isn't a set, it is a collection over a lifetime. I did a bit of digging, and found that very little is known concerning the photographic collection's size. However, George Burke had an associate (George Brace) that was his successor for photography in Chicago. According to an article, the collection is around "10,000 negatives" in size! While I doubt that every single photo is in the set, certainly this is a large set to catalogue, if it ever happens!
I enjoy a bit of mystery every now and then!
