randomly clicks on
cards, from sports
and other subjects,
that I don't
collect when they
appear in the
Recently Added
section of the home
page, just to see
them? I've been
doing that pretty
much since I joined
the Database, and
while it hasn't
prompted me to
start collecting
anything new - it
has proven
educational and
fun. For instance,
while watching
SportsCenter I've
actually seen them
reference players
who I learned about
for the first time
by clicking random
recently added
cards, from
Baseball, football
And hockey!

VERY slow trading due to health problems. Not transferrable so safe to trade with, just moving is painful and can't always access the cards. I do the same thing. That is how I keep up on newer hockey players since I was never really into hockey. I also do the same for MLS Soccer. I try to follow it a bit more, but just can't. It was also through this site I heard about Lacrosse and Bull Riding cards actually exist.
I also like looking at some of the sell sheets, but love looking at the recently added packaging. I hope a lot more of the older packs and boxes can be added because I would love seeing more of them. About the only thing I don't look at are the gaming ones like Magic and such.

I think most will automatically know what you meant and not even notice the dyslexic mistak. The first time I saw it I could have sworn it was correct. :) Billy Kingsley wrote: I just noticed that

I do it also. There was a gap from about 2003 to 2012 where I wasn't buying cards, so I have no idea what most of the cards from that era even look like. I'm always seeing stuff in the recently added that I have never seen and didn't know existed. In my younger days, I wanted to have one card (or more) out of every set possible, and with all the cool looking cards out there, I may pursue that as a long-term goal again.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.
