Please take a look at this non-sport set and let me know what you think of the way these are numbered. I did not put these numbers out there but will change them if the consensus is to do so.

I would say no to the "of44" part of the number, myself. That's my vote.

Yeah, convention is to not put the "of xx" into each card number.

That's all I needed, two votes in favor. With mine, that makes three. I will start changing.

According to the Sport Americana Non-Sports Card Price List #4 It seems to be a little complicated. They had a "test" series, and then a "regular" series. There were 3 signs that were replaced from test to regular. There is some detail in the guide about speifics Eek looks like the test versions were a bit "nastier" which is why some were changed. The details mention that the "replacement" title for "card" (sign OK whatever) #1 has never been found by collectors (at time of publishing 1992)
UGH and there was a set of 44 stickers.
Here is what the guide gives as a list: They list the numbers followed by a T for Test and R for regular set. I will only put T and R when there is a difference.:
1T School Sucks
1R School Really Stinks
2 Danger: Zit Zone
3 Mutants Keep Out
4T Caution: Smart Ass Inside
4R Caution: Smart Kid Inside
5 No Homework Beyond This Point
6 Boogers Are Beautiful
7 This Toilet Stinks
8 Smell My Socks
9 Danger: Human Gas Leak
10 Toxic Waste Area
11T Date In Bed
11R Pass Gass On Left
12 Condemned By Board Of Health
13 Psycho On Premises
14T Horny Child Inside
14R Homework Copied Here
15 Bed Dangerous When Wet
16 Teacher In Closet
17 Nerds Keep Out
18 I Barf For Nerds
19T Dad's Drunk Again
19R Hold Nose When Pissing
20 I [Love] Privacy
21 Falling Dandruff Zone
22 Roach Resort
23T Gone To School (Damn It)
23R Gone To School (Darn It)
24 No Pukes
OK here is the laborous details I was trying ot avoid having to type out: Three signs (11, 14, 19) were pulled from the original test set and those numbers were blacked out by hand on the test wrapper. When the regular set was released the wrappers indicated 3 more signs had been replaced (1,, 4, 23). However replacement sign 1 "School Really Stinks" has not been found and collectors have reported finding test titles 4 and 23 in both test and regular packs. The regular wrapper listing (apparently on the wrappers themsevles) for numbers 21 and 22 is incorrect sign 21 is always "Falling Dandruff Zone" and 22 is always "Roach Resort".

CaptKirk, you wrote : "UGH and there was a set of 44 stickers". These are stickers. I could be wrong but I don't think there were other stickers.

OY that figures. The Guide also lists the 44 stickers with the titles I think in alphabetical order, but no numbers. I'll try to list what it says later tonight. Can't do it from work since guide is at Home.

CaptKirk, You have a lot of good info on this set. When you get some time in the next months, you should shoot them into the comments. I am sure others would find this as interesting as I have.
