The GBK numbering is giving me apoplexy. I am trying to enter cards for 1987 Series 7. Yes, cards are numbered 252a, 252b, 253a, 253b, etc...... But now I am coming across "a"s and "b"s with different backs (usually puzzle pieces). Seems that 1984 Series 1 and Series 2 treat the different back with, for example "42a, 42ab, 42b, 42bb". Plus every card number is listed with a VAR. 1986 Series 3 does not have any of those problems (that I know of), 1986 Series 4 had some of the "a., ab, b, bb" numbering but only 2 cards listed as VAR. 1986 Series 5 has the "a., ab, b, bb" on some cards and some of the VAR. 1986 Series 6 has the none of the problems that I know of ( it is similar to Series 3 in that respect that it looks almost normal. Which gets me to 1987 Series 7. This has the usual "a, b" cards, nothing listed as VAR. But in attempting to enter these, I am now coming across different backs (those listed as "ab and bb" ) in other sets. Do I ask admin to fix 1987 series 7 or can someone here take a few months and try to sort out this mess which, of course, was created by Topps.
I am too old to fix problems. I can find them but like things around my house, I now pay people to fix problems around my house, Whereas when I was younger, I did the fixing around my house. Naturally I am not paying anyone to fix this Topps fiasco but if anyone has mucho patience, have at it. Thanks
