Bringing back an old thread. I have an ongoing trade with cabz05 that is approaching the two-month mark. He was upfront about the fact that he had some bad trades (his fault) in the past but also mentioned that he was trying to rebuild his trading profile.

I decided to give him the benefit of the doubt and accepted the trade then sent the cards. I have not recieved any cards in return. I've messaged him about every two weeks to check on his status, but I have heard nothing back from him.

So, two things. (1) Does anyone know him? I know he had some problems with his job last year. If that is the case again this year, then I'll call the trade good and wish him the best. (2) If you receive a trade request from him.....maybe have him send the cards first. He offered to do that for me but its not in my nature so I sent the cards as normal.

Life gets the best of all of sometimes...but, at least in baseball, you only get three strikes before you're called out.

I dealt with him over 2 years ago, so I can't vouch for recent activities (or lack thereof).

I do see that he hasn't been logged on for more thana month (last login 11/10/17). I hope things didn't go south on him.

He was one of my more frequent trading partners but none in a while. All were great though. Last time he had an issue with not sending cards, he literally coudn't afford the postage since he had lost his job. (I'm inferring this, he didn't say it) Hopefully he is not in that same situation again. Due to an unexpected medical expense that popped up this week, I am in the same boat with sending out packages for a while.

Communication is everything in regard to any trade.

I had a trade right before he disappeared again, and it was completed with no complications. So I don't think he's dishonest, just disorganized and/or changing priorities as suggested. Only my two cents, of course.
