So sometimes I venture and look for sites that sell cards. Earlier this year I came across ShopGoodwill.com and noticed they sell cards on there. I was curious if anyone ever bought anything on there and what their thoughts were. I haven't yet just because I'm not too keen on the shipping, but there is some good deals I think. Here is a link for just the cards sorted by ending soonest.

Some are pick up only, but most are able to ship, and some even have buy it now.

I've been to that site before. The big advantage is I just don't think too many people watch the listings. There is certainly a chance to get something pretty nice. Shipping is for sure a concern. Also unless you see something good in the picture it is just a big gamble. Even the boxed sets there is so much chance that somebody has taken out the better cards and just donated the rest of the set.
I check out my local goodwill or similar stores occasionally just to see what they have. I've never found anything exciting but I met a guy that claimed to buy some 50s and 60s baseball cards once at a goodwill for pretty cheap. I've seen plenty of cards at these stores before but usually from highly produced years that have not interested me. Would be awesome if you knew someone that handled intake for one of these stores that could give you a call if they get something.

Yes, I recently purchased a set of 1989 Upper Deck with KG Jr. for $12.
Shipping was a bit slow but what do you expect from Goodwill.

I bought a nice box of football stars in pages earlier this year, cards were nicer than I expected.
as many have stated, the postage may not be worthwhile for a 5.00 or under lot, but may be worthwhile on a lot you think is in the 20.00 range and up
thanks, mark

Wow I didn't know Goodwill had an e-store. Let alone sell cards there. As someone else said there might be the chance of someone donating a cherry picked set missing some cards. Since I haven't checked it out I shouldn't say anything else.

You have Goodwill in Canada also. If you shop online, choose a local Goodwill and you can do local pickup. Ontario Great Lakes Goodwill

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

Yeah.. I just looked on the off chance Goodwill Canada had an online shop to it as well and it redirects to the one in the original post.. But since they don't ship internationally I wouldn't be able to do anything anyway lol..

You clicked on the wrong link. Click on the "click here" link under the "Want to save on shipping?" paragraph.
