How does one create a link for Card of the Day Selections on their profile? I click on the link and it says no selections have been made. I thought that when one participated in the Random Card of the Day it would show up there, but I guess that's not the way.

Without doing anything,I have had two cards selected. I think it is whenthe card of the day isa card that you uploaded the images for. Initially, I thought it was when you nominated a card but does not seem to be that way.

Okay, so I see that you have 3 entries on your Card of the Day Selection page. How'd you do that? (That's my basic question.)

When a card you added the image for becomes RCotD, you'll get them. I still don't have any either.

It's done automatically by the database software if you were the person that uploaded the Random Card of the Day's image. It's just a list showing the images you uploaded that have been selected as Card of the Day. And the database randomizer selects the Card of the Day.

Nobody does anything to get that link. You just haven't had a scan that got picked yet. Neither have I, so I don't have the link either. It has nothing to do with leaving comments or anything else.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster. |

Okay, thanks for the info. I'll check for missing images in my collection. I think i've only added one, and that was to correct a Dez Bryant card that wasn't SN, but should have been.

Not sure how the Random Card of the Day is selected but, being in Canada I have plenty of O Pee Chee cards. If the randomness cycles through certain criteria, that may explain my three selections even though I have been a member for less time. In almost all of the baseball O Pee Chee sets,I am the one who has added the most images. All 3 of my RCofD cards are O Pee Chee.

I inquired of Admin about this over a year ago. It is simply a random generator which chooses the card. You can't suggest or nominate any. Just luck of the draw to be chosen.
