Another way to measure the centering is to scan your card, open it up on your computer in a photo program and count the pixels on the borders.  I posted an example of this somewhere on the beckett.com forums.

there are different rules for the centering on the back of a card, which is allowed to be slightly more off-center.

That seems pretty tedious to count out pixels, an accurate ruler would be best.
