For some strange reason, (I haven't a CLUE why,) I think you guys will understand.

Currently, I've got Noise cancellation headphones on listening to matchbox 20, scanning, researching, and adding cards to the site, drinking a couple of beers, and I've been at this since 11:30 this morning. Not the beers.... that was about half an hour ago.

I am content! Happy!! My eye's kinda hurt, but hey! Who else thinks that that would be a great holiday?

(I'll admit, I have a missus and she's interrupted this bliss on multiple occasions to drag me out and.... *shudders* socialize! but other than those moments.... yea. I've been here)

That would be a great holiday and with me the beers would have started at 11:30 since my wife bothers me every 10 minutes asking if I am still playing with my cards (some women)

The only actual socializing I do is with the cards. I've got about 4,000 people represented in cardboard in my collection. That's good enough for me! :)

That's pretty much what I was going for, lol. Like the episode of the Simpsons where Comic Book Guy had his heart attack, and Dr. Hibbert asks him if he has any friends to run the store...and he replies with the Super Friends. It made me laugh hysterically because I am very very similar to Comic Book Guy, lol.

My girl knows my cards are important to me. Thankfully, she's an anti-socialite like me, so she doesn't mind if I am "playing" with my cards all day. Been doing this sorta stiff since I was 8 years old, and it's not going to stop until I'm dead! lol

I can totally relate...I spent a good amount of time last Christmas Day seeing how many of my "Christmas related" cards I could get scanned, just so they would show a scan date on Christmas Day...my six and seven year old completely relate to my constant "playing".. .my wife, although finding it quite silly, tolerates it!

I got almost 900 new cards this past Christmas...it took me all day to write them into my collection listings, and I still have not scanned them all. It was one of my best days in the hobby ever. I told my family that I wanted nothing else besides cards, and they delivered! :)
