Took me a while (I do have five kids, after all) but I finally got all of my Ohio State Buckeyes catalogued! My goal is every card of every Buckeye from every sport, including Big Four, soccer, golf, Olympics, and even MMA. Haven't found any evidence of former Buckeyes in auto racing or tennis. Next up is to start posting some cards for sale / trade to try to work out some trades for Buckeyes that I'm missing.

Roger Smith, Blaz Rola, and Chase Buchanan are tennis players who attended Ohio State. Paul Newman briefly attended Ohio State and has racing cards.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

I knew of the tennis players, but none of them are listed in tcdb checklists (yet, anyway). Paul Newman briefly attended Ohio University in Athens, although I did have to look that up to confirm. Thanks for the prompt to check my accuracy in my collection!

Congratulations! I don't expect to finish until 2021 or so, but I'm the world's worst time estimator, at one point I though I would finish in 2016...and I'm barely past halfway. And now I've started collecting hockey which means I have not worked on the NBA or NASCAR cards for about a week, so maybe 2021 is a bit optimistic. I've got lots of NBA on my tradelist although I last updated that in 2014, so I have several hundred to about 1000 not yet typed in.
-------------------------------
VERY slow trading due to health problems. Not transferrable so safe to trade with, just moving is painful and can't always access the cards. Congrats!
I've been working on the same type of collection for all things TCU Horned Frogs but I've got a long way to go before they are cataloged on here (I do have a massive Excel spreadsheet with every known card for all sports so I know what I have vs what I need).
I have a particular fondness for minor league baseball cards myself. Just found several new cards that I didn't know about because I was searching under an incorrect spelling!
LaDainian Tomlinson is going to bankrupt me.
-------------------------------
Turning off trading because my collection is in complete disarray after moving and I don't know when I can get it organized.

A fellow Buckeye! I am also trying to collect interesting Buckeye cards. I am not so ambitious as to collect them all -- how many cards is that? -- but I do try to collect at least one of every Hall of Famer, All Pro, thousand yard rushers and receivers, etc.
What's your favorite card thus far? I have a 1948 Bowman Les Horvath that I am find of.

According to the wantlist, the total number is over 72,000. I currently have just over 2,000. I am including non sports as well, but so far John Kasich is the only non sport personality I have found on TCDB. Some surprising Buckeye alums that have trading cards include Jack Buck and George Steinbrenner. My favorite card that I have so far is probably... hmm, that's actually a great question. I'll have to think about it and get back to you.
