I have a 1996 motor sports series one upper deck box unopened. It's in decent condition. Would it be more valuable opened or unopened and what is it worth

Unfortunately, there's not much value in that box either way. There's no autographs or memorabilia in that product, and the inserts are fairly common, or at least not highly sought after. Unless you get really lucky, I think the only value there is in the fun of ripping some 20 year old packs.

Always fun ripping packs of cards, older sets are alot of fun since you get to experience new/old cards again. Not much value but fun. ------------------------------- Trying to acquire one card for every for every set, insert, parralle, minor, euro, team issue, oddball etc sets produced for Hockey. Been an interesting project.
